Long ago there was a brave man named Karna who had a very special promise in his heart: whenever anyone came to him needing help, he would always, always say yes. If someone was hungry, he gave them food. If someone was cold, he gave them warm things. He never said, “No, this is mine!” He gave with a happy, open heart, even when he did not have very much himself. People came from far away just to ask Karna for help, and he never turned a single one away. Everyone said, “Karna is the most generous person of all!” He showed that sharing what we have, even when it is hard, makes us truly great and kind.
