There once was a kind man named Kanakadasa who loved Lord Krishna very, very much. He went to a beautiful temple to see Krishna, but the people would not let him come inside the gate. Kanakadasa felt sad, but he did not give up. He went to the back of the temple, stood quietly, and began to sing the sweetest songs to Krishna. He sang from deep in his heart. Krishna heard those loving songs and was so happy that — guess what? — the little statue of Krishna gently turned all the way around to face Kanakadasa! And a tiny window opened in the wall, just for him, so he could see his dear Lord. Love had opened the way!
Love can open any door, even a closed one.
Ask your child: When have you not given up on something you cared about?
