When Hanuman was a tiny baby, he was very, very hungry one morning.
When Hanuman was a tiny baby, he was very, very hungry one morning. He looked up at the sky and saw the big, round sun, all glowing and orange. “Ooh!” thought baby Hanuman. “What a yummy, ripe fruit!” And do you know what he did? He gave a great big jump — up, up, up into the sky! He flew higher than the birds, higher than the clouds, reaching out his little hand toward the sun. The gods saw the brave baby zooming up and gently helped him come back down safely. They were amazed! “This little one is so strong and so fearless,” they said, and they gave him many special gifts to help him do good one day.
Even the smallest of us can be wonderfully brave.
Ask your child: What is something brave you would like to try?
