क्वथद्भूतमहाभूतताराक्रन्दातिघर्घरम् । लोकपालपुरापातस्फुटच्चटचटोद्भटम्

ताराविशरणोद्गारवृष्टरत्नधरातलम् । सर्वस्थलालयचलद्दह्यमानजनव्रजम्
A ground drenched with a rain of gems, expelled by the scattering of stars; everywhere, dwellings are shaken, and crowds of people are burning.
सर्वदिक्कानलप्लोषगणदुर्दर्शदिक्तटम् । उत्तप्ताम्बुभरस्विन्नजलेचरमहार्णवम्
A shore difficult to see, scorched by the fires raging in every direction; a great ocean, steaming and sweating, agitated by the burden of heated waters.
धराधरदरीरन्ध्रभ्रमत्कुण्डलिमण्डलम् । पतत्पर्वतनिष्पिष्टप्लुष्टपत्तनमण्डलम्

A realm where the hearts burst and the bodies of celestial beings fall; exhausted by cries and weeping, the gods melt away, bereft of refuge.
नागलोकज्वलज्ज्वालापातालोत्तप्तभूतलम् । शुष्कार्णवस्खदापङ्कविवृत्तोग्रजलेचरम्
The earth was scorched by the blazing flames of the serpent realms, heated from the netherworld below, and dried up seas became muddy expanses, churned by fierce, spreading waters.
और्वेणाबिन्धनाभावात् प्रोड्डीयेव सहस्रधा । गतेन शतधोत्थाय गृहीतगगनाङ्गनम्
