Seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, speaking, acting, dreaming—nothing new is ever done; know this as the truth.
Whatever you do, that is the essence—pure consciousness, all-pervading; Brahman, of infinite form—there is nothing apart from that.
When the entire multitude of objects abides as the essence of consciousness, this whole world is nothing but consciousness; there is no other imagination.
In this mere radiance of consciousness, called the web of the world, how can there arise the false notion, 'This is one thing, that is another'?
Since only one consciousness exists in all forms, even the knowable does not truly exist; therefore, how can there be bondage or liberation?
Firmly discarding all thoughts such as 'This is liberation, this indeed is bondage,' and abandoning every notion of distinction, remain silent, self-controlled, free from pride and ego, O great one, performing your duties without self-conceit.

This threefold vow, O Rāma, was formerly declared as supreme by the crescent-crested Lord to Bhṛṅgi, by which he remained free from affliction.
On the northern peak of Mount Sumeru, the moon-crested Lord once resided, shining like fire, surrounded by his complete retinue.
With a desire to know true knowledge, the illustrious Bhṛṅgīśa, with hands joined in reverence, humbly questioned Umāpati, O Rāma.
O Lord, God of gods, all-knowing Supreme Lord, whatever I ask, please graciously tell me quickly.
Master, seeing this creation of saṃsāra, flickering like waves, I am bewildered, lacking rest in the truth.
By embracing some firm and delightful inner certainty, in this decaying house of the world, I remain free from distress.
Having abandoned all doubts and relying on eternal courage, you, O sinless one, are the great renouncer, the great doer, the great enjoyer.
