Within each individual, the mind moves swiftly, darting from thought to thought, and by its power, one remembers again and again. This movement of the mind—this intention—is what guides us from within. This very principle is to be revered as “That Delight.” One should meditate upon it as the source of true joy. Whoever comes to know this secret, all beings are drawn to him, longing for his presence. Desiring deeper understanding, the seekers said, “Teach us the Upaniṣad, sir.” The teacher replied, “I have indeed taught you the Upaniṣad—the sacred, hidden wisdom concerning Brahman.” He explained further: “Its foundation is austerity, self-control, and action. The Vedas are its limbs, and truth is its dwelling place.” Whoever realizes this in such a manner, casting off all sin, stands steadfast in the infinite, highest world of heaven—firm and unshakable indeed.
