स्नेहनोऽस्नेहनश्चैव अजितश्च महामुनिः । वृक्षाकारो वृक्षकेतुरनलो वायुवाहनः ॥ ६० ॥
He is both affectionate and unaffectionate; unconquered, the great sage; of the form of a tree, with a banner of a tree; fire, and the bearer of wind.
गण्डली मेरुधामा च देवाधिपतिरेव च । अथर्वशीर्षः सामास्य ऋक्सहस्रामितेक्षणः ॥ ६१ ॥
He is Gaṇḍalī, the support of Meru, and indeed the lord of the gods; whose head is the Atharva Veda, whose mouth is the Sāma Veda, whose eyes are countless Ṛg Vedas.
यजुः पादभुजो गुह्यः प्रकाशो जङ्गमस्तथा । अमोघार्थः प्रसादश्च अभिगम्यः सुदर्शनः ॥ ६२ ॥
He has the Yajur Veda as his arms and feet, is hidden yet manifest, ever-moving; whose purpose is unfailing, who is gracious, approachable, and of beautiful vision.
उपकारः प्रियः सर्वः कनकः काञ्चनच्छविः । नाभिर्नन्दिकरो भावः पुष्करस्थपतिः स्थिरः ॥ ६३ ॥
He is helpful, beloved by all, golden, with a radiant golden hue; the navel, the giver of joy, existence itself, the lord dwelling in the lotus, steadfast.
द्वादशस्त्रासनश्चाद्यो यज्ञो यज्ञसमाहितः । नक्तं कलिश्च कालश्च मकरः कालपूजितः ॥ ६४ ॥
He is the first among those who wield twelve weapons, the embodiment of sacrifice, ever absorbed in sacrifice; he is night, the age of strife, time itself, the makara, and worshipped by time.
सगणो गणकारश्च भूतवाहनसारथिः । भस्मशयो भस्मगोप्ता भस्मभूतस्तरुर्गणः ॥ ६५ ॥
He is accompanied by attendants, the creator of hosts, the charioteer of the vehicle of spirits; he dwells in ashes, protects ashes, is himself turned to ashes, is the tree, and the multitude.
लोकपालस्तथाऽलोको महात्मा सर्वपूजितः । शुक्लस्त्रिशुक्लः सम्पन्नः शुचिर्भूतनिषेवितः ॥ ६६ ॥
He is the protector of the worlds, yet beyond the worlds; of great soul, worshipped by all; pure, thrice-pure, accomplished, immaculate, and served by beings.
आश्रमस्थः क्रियावस्थो विश्वकर्ममतिर्वरः । विशालशाखस्ताम्रोष्ठो ह्यम्बुजालः सुनिश्चलः ॥ ६७ ॥
He abides in hermitages, established in sacred rites, supreme in the mind of the cosmic artisan; of vast branches, copper-red lips, lotus-eyed, and unwavering.
कपिलः कपिशः शुक्ल आयुश्चैव परोः । गन्धर्वो ह्यदितिस्तार्क्ष्यः सुविज्ञेयः सुशारदः ॥ ६८ ॥
He is Kapila, tawny-hued, pure, the very life and the highest; he is Gandharva, Aditi, Tārkṣya, easily known, and eloquent.
परश्वधायुधो देवो ह्यनुकारी सुबान्धवः । तुम्बवीणो महाक्रोध ऊर्ध्वरेता जलेशयः ॥ ६९ ॥
The god wields the battle-axe as his weapon, imitates, is a true friend; he plays the Tumbavīṇā, is of great wrath, of upward-flowing seed, and lord of the waters.
उग्रो वंशकरो वंशो वंशनादो ह्यनिन्दितः । सर्वाङ्गरूपो मायावी सुहृदो ह्यनिलोऽनलः ॥ ७० ॥
He is fierce, the progenitor of lineages, the lineage itself, the sound of the flute, blameless; he assumes all forms, is a master of illusion, a good friend, wind, and fire.
बन्धनो बन्धकर्ता च सुबन्धनविमोचनः । स यज्ञारिः स कामारिर्महादंष्ट्रो महायुधः ॥ ७१ ॥
He is bondage, the maker of bondage, and the liberator from good bonds; he is the enemy of sacrifice, the foe of desire, great-fanged, and mighty-armed.
बहुधा निन्दितः शर्वः शङ्करः शङ्करोऽधनः । अमरेशो महादेवो विश्वदेवः सुरारिहा ॥ ७२ ॥
Śarva, though reviled in many ways, is Śaṅkara, the beneficent one, the impoverished one; he is the lord of the immortals, the great god, the god of all, the destroyer of the enemies of the gods.
अहिर्बुध्न्योऽनिलाभश्च चेकितानो हविस्तथा । [हरि] अजैकपाच्च कापाली त्रिशङ्कुरजितः शिवः ॥ ७३ ॥
He is Ahirbudhnya, resembling the wind, the wise one, the recipient of offerings; [Hari], Ajaikapāda, the bearer of skulls, the conqueror of Triśaṅku, and Śiva.
धन्वन्तरिर्धूमकेतुः स्कन्दो वैश्रवणस्तथा । धाता शक्रश्च विष्णुश्च मित्रस्त्वष्टा ध्रुवो धरः ॥ ७४ ॥
He is Dhanvantari, Dhūmaketu, Skanda, and Vaiśravaṇa; he is Dhātā, Śakra, Viṣṇu, Mitra, Tvaṣṭṛ, Dhruva, and Dhara.
प्रभावः सर्वगो वायुरर्यमा सविता रविः । उषङ्गुश्च विधाता च मान्धाता भूतभावनः ॥ ७५ ॥
He is Prabhāva, all-pervading, Vāyu, Aryaman, Savitṛ, Ravi; Uṣaṅgu, Vidhātā, Māndhātā, and the creator of beings.
विभुर्वर्णविभावी च सर्वकामगुणावहः । पद्मनाभो महागर्भश्चन्द्रवक्त्रोऽनिलोऽनलः ॥ ७६ ॥
He is all-pervading, the manifestor of colors, the bestower of all desirable qualities; He is Padmanabha, the great womb, moon-faced, the wind, and fire.
बलवांश्चोपशान्तश्च पुराणः पुण्यचञ्चुरी । कुरुकर्ता कुरुवासी कुरुभूतो गुणौषधः ॥ ७७ ॥
He is powerful and tranquil, ancient, with auspicious beak; the doer of actions, the dweller among the Kurus, having become the Kurus, and the medicine of virtues.
सर्वाशयो दर्भचारी सर्वेषां प्राणिनां पतिः । देवदेवः सुखासक्तः सदसत्सर्वरत्नवित् ॥ ७८ ॥
He is the abode of all, the wanderer on darbha grass, the lord of all beings; the god of gods, attached to happiness, existent and non-existent, the knower of all jewels.
कैलासगिरिवासी च हिमवद्गिरिसंश्रयः । कूलहारी कूलकर्ता बहुविद्यो बहुप्रदः ॥ ७९ ॥
He dwells on Mount Kailasa and takes refuge in the Himalaya; the remover of lineage, the creator of lineage, possessing much knowledge, and greatly generous.
वणिजो वर्धकी वृक्षो वकुलश्चन्दनश्छदः । सारग्रीवो महाजत्रुरलोलश्च महौषधः ॥ ८० ॥
He is merchant, carpenter, tree, vakula tree, sandalwood, and shelter; He is strong-necked, broad-shouldered, restless, and the great medicine.
सिद्धार्थकारी सिद्धार्थश्छन्दोव्याकरणोत्तरः । सिंहनादः सिंहदंष्ट्रः सिंहगः सिंहवाहनः ॥ ८१ ॥
He is the accomplisher of success, the one who has attained success, the master of meter and grammar; He is lion's roar, lion-fanged, lion-going, and lion-mounted.
प्रभावात्मा जगत्कालस्थालो लोकहितस्तरुः । सारङ्गो नवचक्राङ्गः केतुमाली सभावनः ॥ ८२ ॥
He is the essence-soul, the time of the world, the steadfast one, the tree for the good of the world; He is deer-marked, with nine-spoked form, bannered, and fostering.
भूतालयो भूतपतिरहोरात्रमनिन्दितः ॥ ८३ ॥
He is the abode of beings, the lord of beings, day and night, and blameless.
वाहिता सर्वभूतानां निलयश्च विभुर्भवः । अमोघः सम्यतो ह्यश्वो भोजनः प्राणधारणः ॥ ८४ ॥
He who carries all beings, the abode, the all-pervading, the origin; unfailing, restrained, swift as a horse, the sustenance, the bearer of breath.
धृतिमान् मतिमान् दक्षः सत्कृतश्च युगाधिपः । गोपालिर्गोपतिर्ग्रामो गोचर्मवसनो हरिः ॥ ८५ ॥
Steadfast, wise, skillful, honored, lord of the ages; protector of cows, master of herds, village, clad in cowhide, remover of darkness.
हिरण्यबाहुश्च तथा गुहापालः प्रवेशिनाम् । प्रकृष्टारिर्महाहर्षो जितकामो जितेन्द्रियः ॥ ८६ ॥
Golden-armed, guardian of caves, among those who enter; formidable enemy, great joy, conqueror of desire, master of the senses.
गान्धारश्च सुवासश्च तपःसक्तो रतिर्नरः । महागीतो महानृत्यो ह्यप्सरोगणसेवितः ॥ ८७ ॥
Of Gandhara, well-clad, devoted to austerity, delight of men; great singer, great dancer, served by hosts of apsaras.
महाकेतुर्महाधातुर्नैकसानुचरश्चलः । आवेदनीय आदेशः सर्वगन्धसुखावहः ॥ ८८ ॥
He is the great-bannered one, the great support, accompanied by many, and ever-moving; He is to be revealed, the command, and the bringer of all fragrant delights.
तोरणस्तारणो वातः परिधी पतिखेचरः । सम्योगो वर्धनो वृद्धो अतिवृद्धो गुणाधिकः ॥ ८९ ॥
He is the gateway, the deliverer, the wind, the enclosure, the lord of those who move in the sky; He is union, increaser, aged, exceedingly aged, and surpassing in virtues.
