बहुभूतो बहुधरः स्वर्भानुरमितो गतिः । नृत्यप्रियो नित्यनर्तो नर्तकः सर्वलालसः ॥ २० ॥
He who has become many, who bears many forms, who is the eclipse-causing Svarbhanu, who is immeasurable, who is movement itself; who delights in dance, who is the eternal dancer, the performer, and the one who enjoys all pleasures.
घोरो महातपाः पाशो नित्यो गिरिरुहो नभः । सहस्रहस्तो विजयो व्यवसायो ह्यतन्द्रितः ॥ २१ ॥
He is fierce, of great austerity, the noose, eternal, mountain-dwelling, the sky; with a thousand hands, victorious, resolute, and ever untiring.
अधर्षणो धर्षणात्मा यज्ञहा कामनाशकः । [मर्ष] दक्षयागापहारी च सुसहो मध्यमस्तथा ॥ २२ ॥
He is unassailable, the essence of boldness, the destroyer of sacrifices, the destroyer of desire; the one who took away Daksha's sacrifice, who is patient, easily endured, and the mediator.
तेजोपहारी बलहा मुदितोऽर्थोऽजितोऽवरः । गम्भीरघोषो गम्भीरो गम्भीरबलवाहनः ॥ २३ ॥
He is the taker of brilliance, the destroyer of strength, joyful, the meaning itself, unconquered, the lowest; whose voice is deep, who is profound, and whose vehicle is of immense strength.
न्यग्रोधरूपो न्यग्रोधो वृक्षकर्णस्थितिर्विभुः । सुतीक्ष्णदशनश्चैव महाकायो महाननः ॥ २४ ॥
He has the form of the banyan tree, he is the banyan tree itself, he abides in the ears of trees, and he is all-pervading; he has very sharp teeth, a great body, and a great mouth.
विष्वक्सेनो हरिर्यज्ञः सम्युगापीडवाहनः । तीक्ष्णतापश्च हर्यश्वः सहायः कर्मकालवित् ॥ २५ ॥
He is Viṣvaksena, Hari, and the sacrifice; his vehicle is victorious in battle; he is of intense heat, has tawny horses, is a companion, and knows the proper time for action.
विष्णुप्रसादितो यज्ञः समुद्रो बडबामुखः । हुताशनसहायश्च प्रशान्तात्मा हुताशनः ॥ २६ ॥
He is pleased by Viṣṇu, he is the sacrifice, the ocean, and the mouth of the submarine fire; he is accompanied by the fire-god, has a tranquil self, and is himself the fire-god.
उग्रतेजा महातेजा जन्यो विजयकालवित् । ज्योतिषामयनं सिद्धिः सर्वविग्रह एव च ॥ २७ ॥
He is of fierce radiance, of great radiance, the cause of birth, knower of the time of victory; he is the abode of light, accomplishment itself, and indeed all forms.
शिखी मुण्डी जटी ज्वाली मूर्तिजो मूर्धगो बली । वेणवी पणवी ताली खली कालकटङ्कटः ॥ २८ ॥
He is crested, shaven-headed, matted-haired, blazing, born in many forms, crowned, mighty; flute-player, drum-player, cymbalist, fierce, and the dreadful one of dark fangs.
नक्षत्रविग्रहमतिर्गुणबुद्धिर्लयोऽगमः । प्रजापतिर्विश्वबाहुर्विभागः सर्वगोऽमुखः ॥ २९ ॥
He is the embodiment of the stars, intelligence, the quality of discernment, dissolution, the unapproachable; lord of creatures, all-armed, division, all-pervading, and faceless.
विमोचनः सुसरणो हिरण्यकवचोद्भवः । मेढ्रजो बलचारी च महीचारी स्रुतस्तथा ॥ ३० ॥ [मेघजो]
He is the liberator, the good path, born with a golden armor, born from the phallus, moving with strength, moving on earth, and also flowing.
सर्वतूर्यनिनादी च सर्वातोद्यपरिग्रहः । व्यालरूपो गुहावासी गुहो माली तरङ्गवित् ॥ ३१ ॥
He is the sound of all musical instruments, the possessor of all musical accompaniments; serpent-formed, dweller in caves, the mysterious one, garlanded, and knower of waves.
त्रिदशस्त्रिकालधृक्कर्मसर्वबन्धविमोचनः । बन्धनस्त्वसुरेन्द्राणां युधिशत्रुविनाशनः ॥ ३२ ॥
He who upholds the three worlds and all times, who releases all from the bonds of karma, who is the bondage of the lords of the asuras, and who destroys enemies in battle.
साङ्ख्यप्रसादो दुर्वासाः सर्वसाधुनिषेवितः । प्रस्कन्दनो विभागज्ञो अतुल्यो यज्ञभागवित् ॥ ३३ ॥
He is the serenity of Sāṅkhya, the difficult to dwell with, honored by all the virtuous, the one who overcomes, the knower of distinctions, incomparable, and the knower of the shares of sacrifice.
सर्ववासः सर्वचारी दुर्वासा वासवोऽमरः । हैमो हेमकरोऽयज्ञः सर्वधारी धरोत्तमः ॥ ३४ ॥ [यज्ञः]
He dwells everywhere, moves everywhere, is difficult to dwell with, is the lord of dwelling, is immortal, golden, the maker of gold, beyond sacrifice, the supporter of all, and the best among those who bear.
लोहिताक्षो महाक्षश्च विजयाक्षो विशारदः । सङ्ग्रहो निग्रहः कर्ता सर्पचीरनिवासनः ॥ ३५ ॥
He has red eyes, great eyes, is victorious-eyed, skillful, the gatherer, the restrainer, the doer, and the one who wears a serpent-skin garment.
मुख्योऽमुख्यश्च देहश्च काहलिः सर्वकामदः । सर्वकालप्रसादश्च सुबलो बलरूपधृत् ॥ ३६ ॥
He is the foremost and the non-foremost, the embodiment of all forms, the bestower of all desires, the one who grants favor at all times, supremely strong, and the bearer of the form of strength.
सर्वकामवरश्चैव सर्वदः सर्वतोमुखः । आकाशनिर्विरूपश्च निपाती ह्यवशः खगः ॥ ३७ ॥
He is the giver of all desired boons, the universal giver, the one whose faces are everywhere, formless as space, of various appearances, the one who descends, unrestrained, and moves through the sky.
रौद्ररूपोऽम्शुरादित्यो बहुरश्मिः सुवर्चसी । वसुवेगो महावेगो मनोवेगो निशाचरः ॥ ३८ ॥
He has a fierce form, is radiant like the sun, possessing many rays, full of splendor, swift as the wind, of great speed, swift as the mind, and moves in the night.
सर्ववासी श्रियावासी उपदेशकरोऽकरः । मुनिरात्मनिरालोकः सम्भग्नश्च सहस्रदः ॥ ३९ ॥
He dwells in all, abides in prosperity, is the giver of instruction, actionless, a sage, self-illuminated, the destroyer of ignorance, and the bestower of thousands of gifts.
पक्षी च पक्षरूपश्च अतिदीप्तो विशां पतिः । उन्मादो मदनः कामो ह्यश्वत्थोऽर्थकरो यशः ॥ ४० ॥
He is the bird, he has the form of a bird, he is exceedingly radiant, the lord of the worlds; he is madness, the god of love, desire, the holy fig tree, the giver of meaning, and fame.
वामदेवश्च वामश्च प्राग्दक्षिणश्च वामनः । सिद्धयोगी महर्षिश्च सिद्धार्थः सिद्धसाधकः ॥ ४१ ॥
He is Vāmadeva, he is gentle, he is the east, the south, and the dwarf; he is the accomplished yogi, the great sage, one whose aims are fulfilled, and the accomplisher of perfection.
भिक्षुश्च भिक्षुरूपश्च विपणो मृदुरव्ययः । महासेनो विशाखश्च षष्टिभागो गवां पतिः ॥ ४२ ॥
He is the mendicant, he takes the form of a mendicant, he is the merchant, gentle, imperishable; he is Mahāsena, Viśākha, the sixth part, and the lord of cows.
वज्रहस्तश्च विष्कम्भी चमूस्तम्भन एव च । वृत्तावृत्तकरस्तालो मधुर्मधुकलोचनः ॥ ४३ ॥
He holds the thunderbolt in his hand, he is the supporter, the one who restrains armies; he is the doer of right and wrong, the palm tree, sweet, and has honey-like eyes.
वाचस्पत्यो वाजसनो नित्यमाश्रमपूजितः । [नित्यमाश्रितपूजितः] ब्रह्मचारी लोकचारी सर्वचारी विचारवित् ॥ ४४ ॥
Master of speech, possessor of strength, ever worshipped in hermitages, ever worshipped by those who seek refuge, celibate, moving among the worlds, moving everywhere, knower of all inquiry.
ईशान ईश्वरः कालो निशाचारी पिनाकभृत् । निमित्तस्थो निमित्तं च नन्दिर्नन्दिकरो हरिः ॥ ४५ ॥
Lord of the northeast, supreme ruler, time itself, wanderer of the night, bearer of the Pinaka bow, abiding in causes, himself the cause, Nandi, bestower of joy, remover of affliction, lion, destroyer, time, creator, and grandsire.
नन्दीश्वरश्च नन्दी च नन्दनो नन्दिवर्धनः । भगहारी निहन्ता च कालो ब्रह्मा पितामहः ॥ ४६ ॥
Lord of Nandi, Nandi himself, source of joy, increaser of joy, remover of fortune, destroyer, time, Brahma, and the grandsire.
चतुर्मुखो महालिङ्गश्चारुलिङ्गस्तथैव च । लिङ्गाध्यक्षः सुराध्यक्षो योगाध्यक्षो युगावहः ॥ ४७ ॥
Four-faced one, great emblem, beautiful emblem, overseer of the emblem, chief of the gods, chief of yogis, bringer of the ages.
बीजाध्यक्षो बीजकर्ता अध्यात्मानुगतो बलः । इतिहासः सकल्पश्च गौतमोऽथ निशाकरः ॥ ४८ ॥
He is the overseer of seeds, the creator of seeds, the one who follows the inner self, strength itself; he is history, resolve, Gautama, and the maker of night.
दम्भो ह्यदम्भो वैदम्भो वश्यो वशकरः कलिः । लोककर्ता पशुपतिर्महाकर्ता ह्यनौषधः ॥ ४९ ॥
He is hypocrisy, yet free from hypocrisy, the semblance of hypocrisy; he is subject to control, the controller, the age of strife; creator of worlds, lord of beings, the great creator, and without remedy.
