उद्यद्भानुसहस्राभा चतुर्बाहुसमन्विता । रागस्वरूपपाशाढ्या क्रोधाकाराङ्कुशोज्ज्वला
She shines with the radiance of a thousand rising suns, endowed with four arms; she is adorned with the noose embodying passion, and she gleams with the goad formed of wrath.
मनोरूपेक्षुकोदण्डा पञ्चतन्मात्रसायका । निजारुणप्रभापूरमज्जद्ब्रह्माण्डमण्डला
She whose form is the mind, whose bow is made of sugarcane, whose five arrows are the subtle elements, and whose own crimson radiance submerges the entire universe.
चम्पकाशोकपुन्नागसौगन्धिकलसत्कचा । कुरुविन्दमणिश्रेणीकनत्कोटीरमण्डिता
Her hair is adorned with champaka, ashoka, punnaga, and fragrant flowers, and she is ornamented with a crown shining with rows of rubies.
अष्टमीचन्द्रविभ्राजदलिकस्थलशोभिता । मुखचन्द्रकलङ्काभमृगनाभिविशेषका
She is radiant with the beauty of the crescent moon of the eighth lunar day, shining upon the region of her forehead; her face bears a mark resembling the lunar blemish, distinguished by the fragrance of musk.
वदनस्मरमाङ्गल्यगृहतोरणचिल्लिका । वक्त्रलक्ष्मीपरीवाहचलन्मीनाभलोचना
Her mouth is adorned like the auspicious archway of Cupid's palace; the goddess Lakshmi of the face attends her, and her eyes move gracefully like swimming fish.
नवचम्पकपुष्पाभनासादण्डविराजिता । ताराकान्तितिरस्कारिनासाभरणभासुरा
Her nose is resplendent like a staff of freshly blossomed champaka flowers; the radiance of her nose ornament outshines the brilliance of the stars and the moon.
कदम्बमञ्जरीक्ळिप्तकर्णपूरमनोहरा । ताटङ्कयुगलीभूततपनोडुपमण्डला
Her ears are adorned enchantingly with clusters of kadamba flowers; the pair of her earrings resemble the orbs of the sun and the moon.
पद्मरागशिलादर्शपरिभाविकपोलभूः । नवविद्रुमबिम्बश्रीन्यक्कारिरदनच्छदा
Her cheeks outshine the radiance of a mirror made of padmarāga gem; her lips possess a beauty that puts to shame the fresh coral and bimba fruit.
ओर् दशनच्छदा शुद्धविद्याङ्कुराकारद्विजपङ्क्तिद्वयोज्ज्वला । कर्पूरवीटिकामोदसमाकर्षिदिगन्तरा
Her rows of teeth, resembling the sprouts of pure knowledge, shine brilliantly in two lines; the fragrance of camphor and betel leaves in her mouth pervades all directions.

अनाकलितसादृश्यचिबुकश्रीविराजिता । ओर् चुबुकश्री कामेशबद्धमाङ्गल्यसूत्रशोभितकन्धरा
She whose beautiful chin is without equal, or whose neck shines adorned with the auspicious marriage thread tied by Kamesha.
कनकाङ्गदकेयूरकमनीयभुजान्विता । रत्नग्रैवेयचिन्ताकलोलमुक्ताफलान्विता
She is adorned with beautiful arms embellished by golden armlets and bracelets, and wears a splendid necklace of gems with swinging strings of pearls.
कामेश्वरप्रेमरत्नमणिप्रतिपणस्तनी । नाभ्यालवालरोमालिलताफलकुचद्वयी
Her breasts are the price for the jewel of Kāmeśvara’s love, and her two breasts are like the fruits of the creeper of fine hair rising from her navel.
लक्ष्यरोमलताधारतासमुन्नेयमध्यमा । स्तनभारदलन्मध्यपट्टबन्धवलित्रया
Her waist, inferred by the delicate creeper-like line of fine hair, is so slender that it appears to be shaped only by the weight of her breasts, adorned with three graceful folds marked by the binding of her middle cloth.
अरुणारुणकौसुम्भवस्त्रभास्वत्कटीतटी । रत्नकिङ्किणिकारम्यरशनादामभूषिता
Her hips shine, wrapped in garments of radiant crimson and orange hues, and she is adorned with a beautiful girdle of jeweled tinkling bells.
कामेशज्ञातसौभाग्यमार्दवोरुद्वयान्विता । माणिक्यमुकुटाकारजानुद्वयविराजिता
She possesses thighs soft and beautiful, known only to Kāmeśa, and her knees shine, adorned with the radiance of crowns made of rubies.
इन्द्रगोपपरिक्षिप्तस्मरतूणाभजङ्घिका । गूढगुल्फा कूर्मपृष्ठजयिष्णुप्रपदान्विता
Her shanks are encircled by red indragopa insects, her calves are like the bowstring of the god of love, her ankles are hidden, and her feet surpass the back of a tortoise in beauty.
नखदीधितिसंछन्ननमज्जनतमोगुणा । पदद्वयप्रभाजालपराकृतसरोरुहा
Whose toenail radiance dispels the darkness of ignorance for those who bow, and whose twin feet outshine the brilliance of lotuses.
सिञ्जानमणिमञ्जीरमण्डितश्रीपदाम्बुजा । ओर् शिञ्जान मरालीमन्दगमना महालावण्यशेवधिः
Whose auspicious lotus feet are adorned with anklets of tinkling gems; whose gait is as graceful as a swan's, and who is the treasure-house of supreme beauty.
सर्वारुणाऽनवद्याङ्गी सर्वाभरणभूषिता । शिवकामेश्वराङ्कस्था शिवा स्वाधीनवल्लभा
She is entirely crimson, flawless in every limb, adorned with all ornaments; seated on the lap of Shiva as Kameshvara, she is Shiva’s auspicious consort, whose beloved is under her own control.
सुमेरुमध्यशृङ्गस्था श्रीमन्नगरनायिका । चिन्तामणिगृहान्तस्था पञ्चब्रह्मासनस्थिता
She dwells atop the central peak of Mount Meru, is the sovereign of the splendid city, resides within the mansion of wish-fulfilling jewels, and is established upon the seat formed by the five Brahmas.
महापद्माटवीसंस्था कदम्बवनवासिनी । सुधासागरमध्यस्था कामाक्षी कामदायिनी
She who dwells in the great lotus forest, who resides in the grove of kadamba trees, who is established in the midst of the ocean of nectar, who is Kāmākṣī, the fulfiller of desires.
देवर्षिगणसंघातस्तूयमानात्मवैभवा । भण्डासुरवधोद्युक्तशक्तिसेनासमन्विता
She whose own splendor is praised by assemblies of divine sages, who is accompanied by an army of powers prepared for the destruction of the demon Bhaṇḍāsura.
सम्पत्करीसमारूढसिन्धुरव्रजसेविता । अश्वारूढाधिष्ठिताश्वकोटिकोटिभिरावृता

चक्रराजरथारूढसर्वायुधपरिष्कृता । गेयचक्ररथारूढमन्त्रिणीपरिसेविता
Seated upon the chariot of the ruler of the chakra, adorned with every kind of weapon, and attended by Mantrini, who is herself seated upon the chariot of the Geya Chakra.
किरिचक्ररथारूढदण्डनाथापुरस्कृता । ज्वालामालिनिकाक्षिप्तवह्निप्राकारमध्यगा

She who delights in the valor of young warriors preparing to slay Bhandasura’s sons; she who is pleased by the destruction of Vishanga, accomplished by the wisdom of her minister.
विशुक्रप्राणहरणवाराहीवीर्यनन्दिता । कामेश्वरमुखालोककल्पितश्रीगणेश्वरा
She who rejoices in the heroic power of Varahi, who took the life of Vishukra; she who, by a mere glance from Kameshvara’s face, brought forth the illustrious lord Ganesha.
