She is the radiant goddess, adored by kings and queens alike, the beautiful lotus-eyed Lady whose presence enchants and delights all who behold her. Her waist is adorned with a tinkling girdle, and she is to be enjoyed and worshipped as the essence of beauty and pleasure. She is Lakshmi, her face shining like the full moon, embodying love and delighting in its sweetness. She is the giver of protection, destroyer of demons, pleasing in nature, and passionately devoted to her consort. Desired by all, she is the very form of the creative power of desire, delighting in the fragrance of kadamba blossoms. Auspicious and compassionate, she is the root of the universe and an ocean of nectar. Adorned with the arts, her speech is artful, her beauty captivating. She delights in kadambari wine and grants boons to her devotees. Her eyes are lovely, and she is intoxicated with the ecstasy of Varuni. Surpassing the universe, she is known through the Vedas and dwells on Mount Vindhya. She is the creatrix, mother of the Vedas, the power of Vishnu, and the playful one who brings joy to all. Her nature is the field, and she is its sovereign, protecting both the field and the knower of the field. Free from decay and growth, she is honored by the guardians of the field. Victorious and pure, she is worthy of reverence. She is affectionate to those who bow to her, eloquent in speech, with beautiful hair, and dwells within the circle of fire. For the devoted, she is a wish-fulfilling creeper, liberating them from worldly bonds, destroying heretics, and promoting right conduct. She is moonlight, soothing those scorched by the triple fires of suffering. Ever youthful, she is worshipped by ascetics, slender-waisted, and the remover of darkness. She is consciousness, whose aim is the supreme state. Her very nature is pure consciousness, and the bliss of her own self is the source of the bliss experienced by Brahma and all the gods. She is the Supreme, the form of inner consciousness, the seer, the highest goddess. She manifests as madhyama and vaikhari, and as the swan dwelling in the minds of devotees. She is the life-channel of Kameshvara, the knower of deeds, worshipped by Kama. Filled with the essence of love, she is victorious and established in Jalandhara. She dwells in the Oḍyāṇa seat, abiding in the circle of the bindu, worshipped through secret rites and satisfied by offerings made in secret. Granting grace instantly, she is the witness of the universe, yet beyond all witnesses. Accompanied by the six-limbed deities, she is fully endowed with the six divine qualities. Ever tender, she is without equal, bestowing the bliss of liberation. Her form is the eternal sixteen, and she shares her body with Śrīkaṇṭha. Radiant and of the nature of light, she is renowned as the supreme sovereign. She is the primal substance, unmanifest, and her essence is both manifest and unmanifest. All-pervading, she possesses manifold forms, her nature encompassing both knowledge and ignorance. She is moonlight, delighting the water-lilies of great Kāmeśa’s eyes. Her radiant line of light dispels darkness in the hearts of devotees, like the sun. She is the messenger of Śiva, worshipped by Śiva, the embodiment of Śiva, and the bestower of auspiciousness. Beloved of Shiva, devoted to him, cherished and worshipped by the noble, she is immeasurable, self-luminous, and beyond the reach of mind and speech. She is the embodiment of consciousness-power, sentience, and also possesses inert power, the nature of insentience. She is Gayatri, the sacred utterance, the twilight worship, attended by groups of twice-born. Seated in the essence of reality, composed of the very principles of existence, she abides within the five sheaths. Her greatness is boundless, eternally youthful, and radiant with intoxicating splendor. Her limitless intoxication makes her red eyes sway, her cheeks flushed with the glow of passion. Her limbs are anointed with sandalwood paste, and she delights in champaka flowers. Skillful and gentle, she is Kurukulla, sovereign of the Kula, abiding in the Kulakunda. She is served with devotion by those dedicated to the Kaula path. She is the mother of Kumara and the hosts, the source of satisfaction, nourishment, intelligence, steadfastness, peace, auspiciousness, radiance, delight, and the remover of obstacles. Radiant and three-eyed, with rolling eyes, she assumes forms at will. Adorned with garlands, swan-like, she is the Mother, dwelling on Mount Malaya. Fair-faced and lotus-like, with beautiful brows, she is splendid and the leader of the gods. Dark-throated, full of charm, stirring, and subtle in form. She is the Lady of the Vajra, the Auspicious One on the left, untouched by the stages of age. Mistress of Siddhas, the Knowledge of Siddhi, Mother of Siddhas, and renowned. She resides in the Viśuddhi chakra, red in color, with three eyes, wielding weapons such as the khaṭvāṅga, and possessing a single face. She delights in offerings of milk and rice, abides in the skin, terrifying to the world of animals. Surrounded by the great powers such as Amrita, she is the sovereign of the Dakinis. Dwelling in the lotus of the Anahata, she has a dark radiance, two faces, shining fangs, bears a rosary and other objects, and is established in blood. Surrounded by hosts of powers such as Kālarātri, she delights in unctuous rice, grants boons to great heroes, and is the very form of Mother Rākiṇī. She resides in the lotus of the maṇipūra, possesses three faces, endowed with weapons beginning with the thunderbolt, and is encircled by Ḍāmarī and others. Of red complexion and established in flesh, her mind delights in offerings of jaggery and rice. She grants happiness to all devotees and is the very form of Mother Lākinī. Dwelling in the lotus of the svādhiṣṭhāna center, enchanting with four faces, endowed with weapons such as the trident, she is of yellow hue and exceedingly proud. She abides in the region of fat, delights in sweetness, accompanied by Bandhini and others. Her heart is attached to curd and rice, and she assumes the form of Kākinī. Enthroned on the lotus of the Mūlādhāra, she possesses five faces, is established in bone, wields the goad and other weapons, and is served by those who grant boons. Her mind is attached to mung beans and rice; she is the very form of Mother Sākinī, residing in the lotus of the Ājñā chakra, white in color, and possessing six faces. She dwells in the marrow, endowed with the chief power named Haṃsavatī, delighting exclusively in turmeric-flavored food, and assumes the form of Hākinī. Abiding upon the thousand-petaled lotus, she is adorned with all colors, bearing every weapon, established in purity, and facing in all directions. Her mind delights in all offerings of food; she is the very form of Mother Yākinī. She is Svāhā, Svadhā, intelligence, wisdom, the Veda, memory, and unsurpassed. Thus, she is the all-embracing Mother, the sovereign of all realms, the source of bliss, wisdom, and liberation, ever radiant and compassionate, worshipped by gods and mortals alike.
