You are the steadfast protector of the virtuous and the saints, the mighty destroyer of demons, and the beloved servant of Lord Rama. It was Mother Janaki herself who granted you a boon: you are the bestower of the eight great spiritual powers and the nine treasures, freely giving these gifts to those devoted to you. Yet above all, you possess the rare and precious elixir of unwavering devotion to Rama, and may you ever remain the faithful servant of the Lord of the Raghu dynasty. Those who sing your praises with love and sincerity find themselves drawn ever closer to Rama, and the sorrows of countless lifetimes are forgotten. At the end of their lives, they journey to the sacred city of the Lord of the Raghus, and wherever they are born thereafter, they are known as true devotees of Hari. Their minds no longer wander to other deities, for Hanuman alone brings all happiness. For those who remember you, mighty Hanuman, you remove every distress and bring an end to all suffering. Victory, victory, victory to you, Hanuman, Lord! Bestow your grace upon us, for you are the true Guru and divine master.
