Such is the power of this sacred recitation that one who masters it can immobilize even Brahma himself, cast delusion over mighty Shiva, subjugate the three worlds, and vanquish all enemies. With its force, he may drive away the gods, overcome Dhananjaya, and bring about wondrous transformations: a barren woman is swiftly blessed with sons, and the poor man finds himself graced with wealth. Whoever, O Goddess, recites these thousand names of Ganesha three times at night, standing before Ganesha and Shiva, unclothed and united with Shakti, and having fulfilled all desired pleasures, becomes the foremost of practitioners. With devotion, he will behold Ganesha directly—the granter of all boons. For such a devotee, prosperity in all its forms—wealth, a good wife, long life, and riches—will never falter. Whether in battle, facing the wrath of kings, or in the uncertainty of gambling, let him recite the thousand names, for by Ganesha’s grace, victory will be his everywhere. Thus, this thousand-name mantra is the very embodiment of all merit.
