मूर्धासि राड् ध्रुवासि धरुणा धर्त्र्य् असि धरणी । आयुषे त्वा वर्चसे त्वा कृष्यै त्वा क्षेमाय त्वा
You are the crown, the ruler, the steadfast support, the bearer, the earth. For life, for brilliance, for agriculture, for well-being, I consecrate you.

You are the controller, the ruler, the restrainer, the steadfast, the supporter. For nourishment, for vigor, for wealth, for prosperity, I consecrate you. Fill the world, fill the gap, sit firm. Indra and Agni, Bṛhaspati, have established you in this womb. The Prishni cows prepare Soma for him, the milkers. At the birth of the gods, the clans in the three luminous realms of heaven. All voices magnified Indra, the one whose domain is the ocean, the best charioteer among charioteers, the true lord of prizes.

The brilliance is twenty-twofold. The gathering is twenty-threefold. The womb is twenty-fourfold. The embryos are twenty-fivefold. The vigor is thirty-ninefold. The will is thirty-onefold. The foundation is thirty-threefold. The expanse of Bradhna is thirty-fourfold. The summit is thirty-sixfold. The turning is forty-eightfold. The sustainer is fourfold.

You are the portion of the seers of men, the lordship of the supporter, the touch of the begetter, the seventeenfold hymn. You are the portion of Mitra, the lordship of Varuṇa, the rain of heaven, the touch of wind, the twenty-onefold hymn.

Both Saha and Sahasya, the two winter seasons, you are the inner embrace of Agni; let heaven and earth be prepared, let the waters and plants be prepared, let the fires be prepared separately, with the greatest reverence, steadfast in their vows. The fires who are united within heaven and earth, these two winter seasons, being prepared, let the gods enter as Indra; with that divinity, O Angiras, sit firm.
एकयास्तुवत प्रजा ऽ अधीयन्त प्रजापतिर् अधिपतिर् आसीत् । तिसृभिर् अस्तुवत ब्रह्मासृज्यत ब्रह्मणस्पतिर् अधिपतिर् आसीत् । पञ्चभिर् अस्तुवत भूतान्य् असृज्यन्त भूतानां पतिर् अधिपतिर् आसीत् । सप्तभिर् अस्तुवत सप्त ऋषयो ऽसृज्यन्त धाताधिपतिर् आसीत्
With one hymn, offspring were studied; Prajāpati was the overlord. With three hymns, Brahman was created; Bṛhaspati was the overlord. With five hymns, beings were created; the lord of beings was the overlord. With seven hymns, the seven seers were created; the lord of the supporter was the overlord.
नवभिर् अस्तुवत पितरो ऽसृज्यन्तादितिर् अध्निपत्न्य् आसीत् । एकादशभिर् अस्तुवत ऽ ऋतवो ऽसृज्यन्तार्तवा ऽ अधिपतय ऽ आसन् । त्रयोदशभिर् अस्तुवत मासा ऽ असृज्यन्त संवत्सरो ऽधिपतिर् आसीत् । पञ्चदशभिर् अस्तुवत क्षत्रम् असृज्यतेन्द्रो ऽधिपतिर् आसीत् । सप्तदशभिर् अस्तुवत ग्राम्याः पशवो ऽसृज्यन्त बृहस्पतिर् अधिपतिर् आसीत्
With nine hymns, the ancestors were created; Aditi was the mistress. With eleven hymns, the seasons were created; the lords of the seasons were the overlords. With thirteen hymns, the months were created; the year was the overlord. With fifteen hymns, sovereignty was created; Indra was the overlord. With seventeen hymns, the domestic animals were created; Bṛhaspati was the overlord.
नवदशभिर् अस्तुवत शूद्रार्याव् असृज्येताम् अहोरात्रे ऽ अधिपत्नी आस्ताम् । एकविꣳशत्यास्तुवतैकशफाः पशवो सृज्यन्त वरुणो ऽधिपतिर् आसीत् । त्रयोविꣳशत्यास्तुवत क्षुद्रां पशवो ऽसृज्यन्त पूषाधिपतिर् आसीत् । पञ्चविꣳशत्यास्तुवताऽऽरण्याः पशवो ऽसृज्यन्त वायुर् अधिपतिर् आसीत् । सप्तविꣳशत्यास्तुवत द्यावापृथिवी व्यैतां वसवो रुद्राऽ आदित्याऽ अनुव्य् आयꣳस् त ऽ एवाधिपतय ऽ आसन्
With nineteen hymns, the Śūdra and Ārya were created; day and night were the mistresses. With twenty-one hymns, the one-hoofed animals were created; Varuṇa was the overlord. With twenty-three hymns, the small animals were created; Pūṣan was the overlord. With twenty-five hymns, the wild animals were created; Vāyu was the overlord. With twenty-seven hymns, heaven and earth were expanded; the Vasus, Rudras, and Ādityas followed in succession; they were the overlords.

Agni, drive away those born as our rivals; Jātavedas, drive away those not yet born. Speak to us kindly; let us be unharmed, let us dwell in your triple-protected shelter.
सहसा जातान् प्र णुदा नः सपत्नान् प्रत्य् अजातान् जातवेदो नुदस्व । अधि नो ब्रूहि सुमनस्यमानो वयꣳ स्याम प्र णुदा नः सपत्नान्
With force, drive away those born as our rivals; Jātavedas, drive away those not yet born. Speak to us with goodwill; may we be, drive away our rivals.
षोडशी स्तोम ऽ ओजो द्रविणम् । चतुश्चत्वारिꣳश स्तोमो वर्चो द्रविणम् । अग्नेः पुरीषम् अस्य अप्सो नाम तां त्वा विश्वे ऽ अभि गृणन्तु देवाः । स्तोमपृष्ठा घृतवतीह सीद प्रजावद् अस्मे द्रविणा यजस्व
The sixteenfold hymn is vigor and wealth. The forty-fourfold hymn is brilliance and wealth. The excrement of Agni is this; the name in the waters; may all the gods praise you. O ghee-offering, seated here on the hymn's back, grant us offspring and wealth as you sacrifice.
