{ईशावा.उप. 11।काण्व14} संभूतिं च विनाशं च यस् तद् वेदोभयꣳ सह । विनाशेन मृत्युं तीर्त्वा संभूत्यामृतम् अश्नुते
Whoever knows both the manifest and destruction together, by destruction crosses over death and by the manifest attains immortality.
{ईशावा.उप. 12।काण्व9} अन्धं तमः प्र विशन्ति ये ऽविद्याम् उपासते । ततो भूय ऽ इव ते तमो य ऽ उ विद्यायाꣳ रताः
Into blind darkness enter those who worship ignorance; into even greater darkness, as it were, go those who delight in knowledge.
{ईशावा.उप. 13।काण्व10} अन्यद् एवाहुर् विद्याया ऽ अन्यद् आहुर् अविद्यायाः । इति शुश्रुम धीराणां ये नस् तद् विचचक्षिरे
They say one thing comes from knowledge, another from ignorance. So have we heard from the wise who explained it to us.
{ईशावा.उप. 14।काण्व11} विद्यां चाविद्यां च यस् तद् वेदोभयꣳ सह । अविद्यया मृत्युं तीर्त्वा विद्ययामृतम् अश्नुते
Whoever knows both knowledge and ignorance together, by ignorance crosses over death and by knowledge attains immortality.
{ईशावा.उप. 15} वायुर् अनिलम् अमृतम् अथेदं भस्मान्तꣳ शरीरम् । ओ3म् क्रतो स्मर क्लिबे स्मर कृतꣳ स्मर
The wind is immortal; this body, indeed, ends in ashes. O mind, remember! O doer, remember! Remember what has been done!
{ईशावा.उप. 16।काण्व18} अग्ने नय सुपथा राये ऽ अस्मान् विश्वानि देव वयुनानि विद्वान् । युयोध्य् अस्मज् जुहुराणम् एनो भूयिष्ठां ते नम ऽ उक्तिं विधेम
O Agni, lead us by the good path to prosperity, O god, knowing all our deeds. Remove from us the crooked sin we have committed. To you we offer our most abundant homage.
{ईशावा.उप. 17।काण्व15} हिरण्मयेन पात्रेण सत्यस्यापिहितं मुखम् । यो ऽसाव् आदित्ये पुरुषः सो ऽसाव् अहम् । ओ३म् खं ब्रह्म
The face of truth is concealed by a golden vessel. That person who is in the sun, I am that person. Om, space, Brahman.
