विश्वा ऽ आशा दक्षिणसद् विश्वान् देवान् अयाड् इह । स्वाहाकृतस्य घर्मस्य मधोः पिबतम् अश्विना
All the directions, seated to the south, all the gods, come here. O Aśvins, drink the honeyed Gharma that has been offered with svāhā.
दिवि धा ऽ इमं यज्ञम् इमम् यज्ञं दिवि धाः । स्वाहाग्नये यज्ञियाय शं यजुर्भ्यः

अश्विना घर्मं पातꣳ हार्द्वानम् अहर् दिवाभिर् ऊतिभिः । तन्त्रायिणो नमो द्यावापृथिवीभ्याम्
Aśvins, drink the Gharma of the heart, with your daytime protections. Homage to the supporters, to Heaven and Earth.
अपाताम् अश्विना घर्मम् अनु द्यावापृथिवी ऽ अमꣳसाताम् । इहैव रातयः सन्तु
Let the Aśvins drink the Gharma; let Heaven and Earth consume it. May the gifts be here itself.
इषे पिन्वस्व । ऊर्जे पिन्वस्व । ब्रह्मणे पिन्वस्व । क्षत्राय पिन्वस्व । द्यावापृथिवीभ्यां पिन्वस्व । धर्मासि सुधर्म । अमेन्य् अस्मे नृम्णानि धारय ब्रह्म धारय क्षत्रम् धारय विषं धारय
Enrich for nourishment. Enrich for vigor. Enrich for the priesthood. Enrich for sovereignty. Enrich for Heaven and Earth. You are law, of good law. Establish powers in us: establish the priesthood, establish sovereignty, establish the people.
स्वाहा पूष्णे शरसे । स्वाहा ग्रावभ्यः । स्वाहा प्रतिरवेभ्यः । स्वाहा पितृभ्य ऽ ऊर्ध्वबर्हिर्भ्यो घर्मपावभ्यः । स्वाहा द्यावापृथिवीभ्याम् । स्वाहा विश्वेभ्यः देवेभ्यः
Hail to Pūṣan, to the swift one. Hail to the stones. Hail to the responding ones. Hail to the ancestors with upright barhis, to the Gharma-purifying ones. Hail to Heaven and Earth. Hail to all the gods.
स्वाहा रुद्राय रुद्रहूतये । स्वाहा सं ज्योतिषा ज्योतिः । अहः केतुना जुषताꣳ सुज्योतिर् ज्योतिषा स्वाहा । रात्रिः केतुना जुषताꣳ सुज्योतिर् ज्योतिषा स्वाहा । मधु हुतम् इन्द्रतमे ऽ अग्नाव् अश्याम ते देव घर्म नमस् ते ऽ अस्तु मा मा हिꣳसीः
Hail to Rudra, to the one invoked by Rudra. Hail to light with light. May the day, with its sign, accept the good light, with light, hail! May the night, with its sign, accept the good light, with light, hail! May we partake of the sweet offering, O Agni, best of Indra, to you, O god Gharma, homage to you; do not harm us.

The mighty one, the priest, became the greatness of heaven, spreading forth. By his fame, settle upon the earth; you are great, shine forth, most beloved by the gods. [O Agni, send forth your reddish smoke, most excellent, most beautiful to behold.]
या ते घर्म दिव्या शुग् या गायत्र्याꣳ हविर्धाने । सा त आ प्यायतां निष्ट्यायतां तस्यै ते स्वाहा । या ते घर्मान्तरिक्षे शुग् या त्रिष्टुभ्य् आग्नीध्रे । सा त ऽ आ प्यायतां निष्ट्यायतां तस्यै ते स्वाहा । या ते घर्म पृथिव्याꣳ शुग् या जगत्याꣳ सदस्या । सा त ऽ आ प्यायतां निष्ट्यायतां तस्यै ते स्वाहा
Whatever Gharma of yours is divine, whatever is in the Gāyatrī, in the offering place—may that come to you, may it settle in you; to that, hail! Whatever Gharma of yours is in the atmosphere, whatever is in the Triṣṭubh, in the fire altar—may that come to you, may it settle in you; to that, hail! Whatever Gharma of yours is on earth, whatever is in the Jagatī, in the assembly—may that come to you, may it settle in you; to that, hail!
क्षत्रस्य त्वा परस्पाय ब्रह्मणस् तन्वं पाहि । विशस् त्वा धर्मणा वयम् अनु क्रामाम सुविताय नव्यसे
For the protection of sovereignty, for the strength of the priesthood, guard your body. We, by righteousness, follow you for new prosperity.
चतुःस्रक्तिर् नाभिर् ऋतस्य सप्रथाः स नो विश्वायुः सप्रथाः स नः सर्वायुः सप्रथाः । अप द्वेषो ऽ अप ह्वरो ऽन्यव्रतस्य सश्चिम
The fourfold garland, the navel of truth, the wide-spreading—may that wide-spreading one grant us all life, may that wide-spreading one grant us full life. May hatred depart, may decline depart, from the one of different vow, may we be together.
घर्मैतत् ते पुरीषं तेन वर्धस्व चा च प्यायस्व । वर्धिषीमहि च वयम् आ च प्यासिषीमहि
This heat is your essence; by it, may you grow and be filled. May we also grow, and may we too be filled.
अचिक्रदद् वृषा हरिर् महान् मित्रो न दर्शतः । सꣳ सूर्येण दिद्युतद् उदधिर् निधिः
The mighty bull, tawny and great, roared out like Mitra, visible to all; with the sun he flashed forth, the ocean, the treasure.
सुमित्रिया न ऽ आप ऽ ओषधयः सन्तु दुर्मित्रियास् तस्मै सन्तु यो ऽस्मान् द्वेष्टि यं च वयं द्विष्मः
May the waters and plants be friendly to us like good companions; let them be unfriendly to him who hates us, and to whom we are hostile.
उद् वयं तमसस् परि स्वः पश्यन्त ऽ उत्तरम् । देवं देवत्रा सूर्यम् अगन्म ज्योतिर् उत्तमम्
We have gone forth from darkness into light, seeing the higher world; we have reached the god among gods, the sun, the highest light.
एधो ऽस्य् एधिषीमहि । समिद् असि तेजो ऽसि तेजो मयि धेहि
May we kindle your kindling; you are the fuel, you are the brilliance—place that brilliance in me.
यावती द्यावापृथिवी यावच् च सप्त सिन्धवो वितस्थिरे । तावन्तम् इन्द्र ते ग्रहमूर्जा गृह्णाम्य् अक्षितं मयि गृह्णाम्य् अक्षितम्
As vast as heaven and earth, as far as the seven rivers extend, so great, O Indra, is the draught of strength I take for myself, undiminished, I take it for myself, undiminished.
मयि त्यद् इन्द्रियं बृहन् मयि दक्षो मयि क्रतुः । घर्मस् त्रिशुग् वि राजति विराजा ज्योतिषा सह ब्रह्मणा तेजसा सह
May that great power be in me, may skill be in me, may resolve be in me. The heat, threefold, shines forth, shining with light, with Brahman, with brilliance.
पयसो रेत ऽ आभृतं तस्य दोहम् अशीमह्य् उत्तराम्-उत्तराꣳ समाम् । त्विषः संवृक् क्रत्वे दक्षस्य ते सुषुम्णस्य ते सुषुम्णाग्निहुतः । इन्द्रपीतस्य प्रजापतिभक्षितस्य मधुमत ऽ उपहूत ऽ उपहूतस्य भक्षयामि
We have drawn up the essence of milk; may we drink its yield, year after year. May your energy, your will, your skill, your graciousness, your gracious fire-offering, your draught drunk by Indra, eaten by Prajapati, full of sweetness, summoned, summoned—may I eat it.
स्वाहा प्राणेभ्यः साधिपतिकेभ्यः । पृथिव्यै स्वाहा । अग्नये स्वाहा । अन्तरिक्षे स्वाहा । वायवे स्वाहा । दिवे स्वाहा । सूर्याय स्वाहा

मनसः कामम् आकूतिं वाचः सत्यम् अशीय । पशूनाꣳ रूपम् अन्नस्य रसो यशः श्रीः श्रयतां मयि स्वाहा ॥ 5 प्रजापतिः संभ्रियमाणः सम्राट् संभृतो वैश्वदेवः सꣳसन्नो घर्मः प्रवृक्तस् तेज ऽ उद्यत ऽ आश्विनः पयस्या नीयमाने पौष्णो विष्यन्दमाने मारुतः क्लथन् । मैत्रः शरसि संताय्यमाने वायव्यो ह्रियमाण ऽ आग्नेयो हूयमानो वाग्घुतः
May I obtain the desire of the mind, the intention of speech, the truth of speech; may the form of cattle, the taste of food, fame, and prosperity abide in me. Svāhā.
सविता प्रथमे ऽहन्न् अग्निर् द्वितीये वायुस् तृतीय ऽ आदित्यश् चतुर्थे चन्द्रमाः पञ्चम ऽ ऋतुः षष्ठे मरुतः सप्तमे बृहस्पतिर् अष्टमे । मित्रो नवमे वरुणो दशम ऽ इन्द्र ऽ एकादशे विश्वे देवा द्वादशे
Savitṛ on the first day, Agni on the second, Vāyu on the third, Āditya on the fourth, the moon on the fifth, the season on the sixth, the Maruts on the seventh, Bṛhaspati on the eighth; Mitra on the ninth, Varuṇa on the tenth, Indra on the eleventh, all the gods on the twelfth.
उग्रश् च भीमश् च ध्वान्तश् च धुनिश् च । सासह्वाꣳश् चाभियुग्वा च विक्षिपः स्वाहा ॥ 39. 8 अग्निꣳ हृदयेनाशनिꣳ हृदयाग्रेण पशुपतिं कृत्स्नहृदयेन भवं यक्ना । शर्वं मतस्नाभ्याम् ईशानं मन्युना महादेवम् अन्तःपर्शव्येनोग्रं देवं वनिष्ठुना वसिष्ठहनुः शिङ्गीनि कोश्याभ्याम्
The fierce one, the terrible one, darkness, the shaker; the victorious, the assailant, the scatterer—svāhā.
उग्रं लोहितेन मित्रꣳ सौव्रत्येन रुद्रं दौर्व्रत्येनेन्द्रं प्रक्रीडेन मरुतो बलेन साध्यान् प्रमुदा । भवस्य कण्ठ्यꣳ रुद्रस्यान्तःपार्श्व्यं महादेवस्य यकृच् छर्वस्य वनिष्ठुः पशुपतेः पुरीतत्
The fierce one with redness, the friend with good vows, Rudra with bad vows, Indra with play, the Maruts with strength, the Sādhyas with joy; Bhava with the throat, Rudra with the side, Mahādeva with the liver, Śarva with the back, Paśupati with the belly.
लोमभ्यः स्वाहा लोमभ्यः स्वाहा त्वचे स्वाहा त्वचे स्वाहा लोहिताय स्वाहा लोहिताय स्वाहा मेदोभ्यः स्वाहा मेदोभ्यः स्वाहा । माꣳसेभ्यः स्वाहा माꣳसेभ्यः स्वाहा स्नावभ्यः स्वाहा स्नावभ्यः स्वाहास्थभ्यः स्वाहास्थभ्यः स्वाहा मज्जभ्यः स्वाहा मज्जभ्यः स्वाहा । रेतसे स्वाहा पायवे स्वाहा

Svāhā to effort, svāhā to exertion, svāhā to union, svāhā to separation, svāhā to rising; svāhā to the pure, svāhā to the shining, svāhā to the one who shines, svāhā to sorrow.
तपसे स्वाहा तप्यते स्वाहा तप्यमानाय स्वाहा तप्ताय स्वाहा घर्माय स्वाहा । निष्कृत्यै स्वाहा प्रायश्चित्त्यै स्वाहा भेषजाय स्वाहा
Oblation to austerity, oblation to the one who practices austerity, oblation to the one being disciplined, oblation to the one who is disciplined, oblation to the heat, oblation for expiation, oblation for atonement, oblation for healing.
यमाय स्वाहान्तकाय स्वाहा मृत्यवे स्वाहा ब्रह्मणे स्वाहा ब्रह्महत्यायै स्वाहा विश्वेभ्यो देवेभ्यः स्वाहा द्यावापृथिवीभ्याꣳ स्वाहा
