The god Indra, with Narāśaṃsa, threefold-protected, threefold-bound, increased the god Indra. Placed with a hundred white-backed (horses), he proceeds with a thousand; for him, Mitra and Varuṇa are priests, Bṛhaspati is the singer, the Aśvins are the Adhvaryus; O possessor of wealth, let the sacrificer seek the wealth of the wealthy.
देवो देवैर् वनस्पतिर् हिरण्यपर्णो मधुशाखः सुपिप्पलो देवम् इन्द्रम् अवर्धयत् । दिवम् अग्रेणास्पृक्षद् आन्तरिक्षं पृथिवीम् अदृꣳहद् वसुवने वसुधेयस्य वेतु यज

Today the sacrificer chose Agni as the priest, cooking the sacrificial foods, preparing the sacrificial cake, binding the goat for Indra. Today the divine tree became the soup-stand for Indra with the goat. The fat was placed, cooked, and the sacrificial cake increased it. Today, O bull, the sacrificer chose you, the descendant of the seers, among the many assembled; this is my desirable wealth among the gods. O gods, whatever divine gifts you have given, grant them to us; you are the priest, sent for auspicious speech, sent by men for good praise; recite the hymns.

होता यक्षत् स्वाहाकृतीर् अग्निं गृहपतिं पृथग् वरुणं भेषजं कविं क्षत्रम् इन्द्रं वयोधसम् । अतिच्छन्दसं छन्द ऽ इन्द्रियं बृहद् ऋषभं गां वयो दधद् व्यन्त्व् आज्यस्य होतर् यज

Today, O bull, descendant of the seers, the sacrificer chooses you for the many assembled; among the gods, this wealth is to be invoked. Those gods who have given divine gifts, let them be called here and praised; you are the Hotar, sent for auspicious speech, for human praise, speak the hymn.
समिद्धो ऽ अञ्जन् कृदरं मतीनां घृतम् अग्ने मधुमत् पिन्वमानः । वाजी वहन् वाजिनं जातवेदो देवानां वक्षि प्रियम् आ सधस्थम्
Kindled, O Agni, you are the ornament of thoughts; you, rich in ghee, overflowing with sweetness. Bearing the prize, O Jātavedas, bring the beloved seat of the gods.
