Flow forth with great glory for the generous, with steadfast wealth; bring nourishment to the singers.
You, Soma, like a king of good vows, have entered the songs; purified, wondrous fire.
That fire, difficult to restrain in the waters, being purified between the rays, and Soma sits among the hosts.
Playful, like a festive offering, you delight; Soma, you go to the filter, placing strength for the hymn.
Flow for us, Soma, with nourishing drops, again and again, and bring all good fortunes.
O Indu, as your praise, as your pressed juice, settle down upon the dear seat of the sacred grass.
O Soma, flow for us with the pressed juice, bestowing cows and horses, with these swift days.
He who conquers and is not conquered, who strikes down the foe without fear—so, Soma, flow as the winner of thousands.
Those streams of yours, O Indu, flowing with honey, I have let flow for aid; with them, you have reached the filter.
He flows for Indra to drink, passing through the unspent waters, sitting at the source of truth.
You, Soma, flow around, most sweet for the Angirases, granting wide space and drawn milk.
Your splendors, like the flashing of rain, like the brightness of Agni, like the courses of the dawns—when you, impelled among the plants and woods, yourself gather the food at the meal.
Driven by the wind, impelled by desire, you stand among the herds, when you, food-seeker, are eager; then the charioteers strive for you, as for the portions, O Agni, of the undying one who burns.
As the maker of wisdom, the arranger of the assembly, Agni, the priest, the one who surrounds the thought—of the child's oblation, they choose you as the common friend, O mighty one; they choose no other but you.
Indeed, there is abundant help from you; now, O Varuna and Mitra, I have sought your good will.
May we attain your secure abode, O mighty ones, and may we be your friends, O Mitra.
Guard us, O Mitra, with your protections, and may you both defend us with strong aid; may we overcome the enemies with our bodies.
Rising up with strength, united in power, after drinking, you shook your cheeks, O Indra, for the pressed Soma in the hosts.
Both the worlds followed you, O Indra, when you became the slayer of the foe.
I seek the eight-footed speech, new-colored, grown in truth, from Indra, for the expansion of my body.
O Indra and Agni, these hymns have been composed for you; come and drink the pressed Soma, delightful to you both.
O Indra and Agni, whatever eager bands are yours, O mighty ones, with them come to the worshipper.
With those bands, O heroes, come here to this Soma offering, O Indra and Agni, for the drinking of Soma.
Let the most radiant Soma flow, resounding into the vessels; let it settle in the proper places.
Let the Somas flow for Indra, for Vāyu, for Varuṇa, for the Maruts, and for Viṣṇu.
O Soma, grant nourishment and offspring to us from every side; flow forth, bringing a thousandfold wealth.
Soma, pressed by the priests and filtered, moves onward like a swift horse, advancing with a delightful stream.
In the fertile meadows, Soma, rich in cows, guarded by milk-giving kine, flows like rivers to the ocean, delighting in the exhilaration.
Whatever splendid, heavenly, or earthly wealth, O Soma, is to be praised, purified, bring that to us.
The mighty, purified one, thundering, brings life as he settles on the sacred grass; the tawny one sits in the common seat.
