O Soma, resounding, with the stones, you pass through the barriers unharmed; like a man in a city, the bright one, you have taken your seat in the woods.

Go forth swiftly, circle the vessel, sit down; purified with men, approach the prize. Like those grooming a swift horse, they lead you to the sacred grass with reins.

Proclaiming wisdom like Ushanas, the god reveals the origins of the gods; the great-vowed, pure-banded, blazing one, like a boar, comes forth resounding with his steps.

He, having crossed the ocean, established the first law, generating offspring, the protector of beings. The mighty one, on the filter, on the unshaken summit, the great Soma has grown, the stone resounds.
कनिक्रन्ति हरिरा सृज्यमानः सीदन्वनस्य जठरे पुनानः नृभिर्यतः कृणुते निर्णिजं गामतो मतिं जनयत स्वधाभिः
The tawny one advances, being released, settling in the womb of the waters, purified; when pressed by men, he makes a clear path, and with his own powers he generates thought.
