Bring to him who desires, who knows all things, all the treasures, for the eager one who has come, for the man who has come from afar, O men.
May you drive away from us the great decay, the great lurking danger, the great ancient harm; dispel the fierce word, O mighty one.
As for a journey, we set your chariot in motion for favor, O most powerful, Indra, lord of strength, with mighty steeds, overcoming foes.

When the swift ones, shining in the chariots, carry the exhilarating sweet drink, there they win renown.
I praise that unconquered lord of might, Indra, the all-powerful, the most skillful, the all-knowing man, the lord of strength.
I have made the hymn for Dadhikrāvan, the victorious, the swift horse; may his fragrant mouths bring us well-being, may he prolong our lives.
The breaker of cities, young, wise, of boundless vigor, was born; Indra, wielder of the thunderbolt, praised by many, upholder of all actions.
Let us send forth the Trishtubh hymn for Indra, who is to be praised by heroes; with thought, for the gaining of wisdom, Purandhi calls him forth.
They speak of the two who are united with Kashyapa, the knower of heaven, by whose vow the wise, having discerned, established the entire world and the sacrifice.
Praise! Let the men praise, those dear to the offering; let them praise, and let the sons also praise, and the city-dwellers, with strong voices, let them praise.
Let the hymn be recited for Indra, to be proclaimed, as Shakra, unconquered, delights in our libations and in our friendships.
Of Vishvanara, lord of wealth, unconquered in strength—by these, too, I call the chariots of the peoples for aid.
He indeed, O men, who, by wisdom, is your helper from heaven, with his aid crosses over the hatred and distress of the mighty sky, as over a narrow place.
O Indra, all-pervading, bestower of gifts, O hundred-powered, grant us abundant wealth; then, for all peoples, magnify our glory, O gracious one, with your good counsel.
The birds, winged in mind, both two-footed and four-footed, set forth at dawn, following the seasons, beyond the boundaries of heaven.
These gods who stand in the midst, in the shining region of heaven—what is the truth, what is the immortal, what ancient offering is theirs?
With the Ṛc and the Sāman we worship, by which they perform the rites; in your assembly, shining forth, you declare the sacrifice among the gods.
All the hosts of men, together with their companions, have fashioned Indra, the king, for strength, for the best resolve, for steadfastness, for wide might, for the most vigorous, for power, for the powerful.
I place faith in the first intention: he struck down the evil one, the foe, day by day, and split the waters; when both heaven and earth ran after you, O strong one, even the stone-bound earth fled from your might.

These, O Indra, are your people, O much-praised one, who, relying on you, move about, O mighty one; for there is no other than you, O singer-loving, who joins our songs as the earths are joined—so, O tawny one, accept our words.

That ram, the wise, let us magnify with a hundred strong companions; like a racer, a prize, a chariot for invocation, may we turn Indra for help with beautiful hymns.
The earth, rich in ghee, adorned among beings, broad and fair, heaven and earth, yielding honey, established by Varuna's law, unaging, ever-fertile.
O Indra, you have spanned both heaven and earth, like the dawns; the great one, you are the sovereign of the vast realms and of peoples. The divine mother, auspicious, has brought you forth; the blessed mother has given birth to you.
Now, with praise, honor the father for his delight, who, with black clouds as his womb, struck down the foe with Ṛjiśvan. We call upon the mighty, thunder-armed, Marut-accompanied Indra as a friend for help.
