Whatever splendid gift, O Indra, is not here, not given by you, O Thunderer, may that favor be granted to us; bring both kinds of wealth here.

Indra, come with your bays to the praise of Kanva; at the command of that heaven, come to the heavenly dwelling, O lord of the day.
To you the hymns have come, O lover of song, as charioteers to the races; they have gathered around you, as cows around a calf, O Indra.
Let us now praise Indra, the pure, with pure song, with pure hymns, who has grown strong with pure praises; let him rejoice in our pure offerings.
He who is the bestower of wealth, the most bountiful, who is most glorious with glories—Soma, when pressed, that is your exhilaration, O Indra, lord of power.
Bring to him who desires, who knows all things, all the treasures, for the eager one who has come, for the man who has come from afar, O men.
May you drive away from us the great decay, the great lurking danger, the great ancient harm; dispel the fierce word, O mighty one.
As for a journey, we set your chariot in motion for favor, O most powerful, Indra, lord of strength, with mighty steeds, overcoming foes.

When the swift ones, shining in the chariots, carry the exhilarating sweet drink, there they win renown.
I praise that unconquered lord of might, Indra, the all-powerful, the most skillful, the all-knowing man, the lord of strength.
I have made the hymn for Dadhikrāvan, the victorious, the swift horse; may his fragrant mouths bring us well-being, may he prolong our lives.

They speak of the two who are united with Kashyapa, the knower of heaven, by whose vow the wise, having discerned, established the entire world and the sacrifice.
Praise! Let the men praise, those dear to the offering; let them praise, and let the sons also praise, and the city-dwellers, with strong voices, let them praise.
Let the hymn be recited for Indra, to be proclaimed, as Shakra, unconquered, delights in our libations and in our friendships.
Of Vishvanara, lord of wealth, unconquered in strength—by these, too, I call the chariots of the peoples for aid.
He indeed, O men, who, by wisdom, is your helper from heaven, with his aid crosses over the hatred and distress of the mighty sky, as over a narrow place.
O Indra, all-pervading, bestower of gifts, O hundred-powered, grant us abundant wealth; then, for all peoples, magnify our glory, O gracious one, with your good counsel.
