Yoke today, O Dawn, your red horses to the chariot endowed with strength; then bring to us all blessings.
O Ashvins, bring near to us your chariot filled with cows and gold, O wondrous ones, with united mind, for our journey.
Here let the gods, bringers of delight, wondrous ones with golden wheels, come swiftly to the pressing of Soma.
As far as you have made the song and the light for people from the sky, so, O Ashvins, bring us nourishment.
I consider Agni to be that treasure, to whom the cows come, to whom the swift horses hasten, who always brings strength and nourishment to the worshippers.
For Agni, the all-people's friend, gives strength to the tribe; Agni, pleased, goes to the wealth that is self-created; bring nourishment to the worshippers.
That Agni, whom I praise as the treasure, to whom the cows come together, to whom the swift and well-born horses come, bring nourishment to the worshippers.
Awaken us today, O Dawn, to great wealth, O radiant one, as you have awakened us before, in truthfulness, in noble birth, in horses, and in fair speech.
You who have arisen with good guidance, with a shining chariot, O daughter of the sky, arise with strength, in truthfulness, in noble birth, in horses, and in fair speech.
May she, the gracious one, arise for us today, O daughter of the sky, who has arisen with strength, in truthfulness, in noble birth, in horses, and in fair speech.
To the most beloved chariot, the bull, the bringer of wealth, the worshipper adorns you, Ashvins, with hymns; listen to my sweet invocation.
Come swiftly, Ashvins, crossing all, wondrous ones with golden wheels, with easy passage, river-borne; listen to my sweet invocation.
Bearing treasures for us, Ashvins, come together, O Rudras with golden wheels, accepting the gifts of strength; listen to my sweet invocation.
Agni has awakened among people with the kindling, like a cow stretching forth to her calf; the Dawns, like strong young women, have risen up, their rays streaming toward the sky.
The priest has awakened for the worship of the gods; upright Agni, with good will, has stood at dawn; the shining power of the kindled one was seen, the great god was released from darkness.
When you loosened the strap of the group, O pure one, Agni, adorned with pure cows, then the offering is joined with the right, the victorious one, upright, has taken the ladles.
This most excellent light, the light of lights, has arisen; the wondrous, far-seeing one is born in manifold ways, as offspring from the impelling of the Sun; thus, night and dawn have entered the same womb.
The bright calves, the shining one, has come with the white; the black one has entered her own abodes; sharing the same kin, the immortal and the mortal move, Heaven and Earth, displaying their colors.
The path of the sisters is the same, unending; the others move by the divine ordinance; they do not clash, nor do they stand still; night and dawn, of one mind, yet of different forms.
Agni shines forth with the face of dawn; the words of the inspired, devoted to the gods, have arisen; now, O Ashvins, come here on your chariot, bringing the warm libation.
Let not the prepared offering be measured out; now, O Ashvins, praised here, come for the midday drink; may you, most gracious, return again with favor to the worshipper.
And come at the gathering, at dawn, at midday, at the rising of the sun; by day, by night, with peaceful intent; now, O Ashvins, your drink is spread forth.
These Dawns have made their sign; in the first half of the expanse they are adorned with radiance; shining forth like weapons, the red cows, mothers, go forth in order.
The ruddy rays have soared up, their own strength unrestrained; the red cows have been yoked; the Dawns have performed their ancient paths; the shining radiance has settled upon the red ones.
The women, active, sing with their voices, not with weaving; joined together in one yoking, they go afar, bearing nourishment for the doer of good, for the generous, for all who sacrifice and pour the offering.
Agni has awakened, the sun rises; the shining Dawns have spread with their light; the Ashvins have yoked their chariot to go; the god Savitar has set the world apart.
When you yoke your vigorous chariot, O Ashvins, pour out for us strength with ghee and honey; inspire our prayer in battles; may we, led by the hero, win riches.
Let the chariot with three wheels, carrying sweetness, drawn by swift horses, praised, come here for the Ashvins; may the generous one, possessing all good fortune, bring us happiness for two-footed and four-footed alike.
Your streams, like rains from the sky, flow forth; they approach the thousand-fold prize.
Beholding all lovely songs, he moves forward; the tawny one, stirring up his weapons.
