You, whom the wise, skilled in words, purify, O mighty one; you whom the pressing stones cleanse together.

Come here, yoked by your own power, mighty one, for the singers, as a chariot wheel rolls swiftly.
Whenever, O hundred-powered one, you fulfill the desire of the singers, as a chariot wheel rolls with your powers.

When you, Indra, fill both heaven and earth like the dawns, you are the great king of the mighty, the lord of peoples; the divine mother, the blessed mother, has given birth to you.
Just as you bear a long goad, a weapon for guidance, O wise one, with your former step, O generous one, we would go, as Yama did; the divine mother, the blessed mother, has given birth to you.

He, whose Soma Indra drinks, whose Maruts, whose Bhaga, the bestower of boons; by whom we may act with Mitra and Varuṇa, for great help from Indra.
Sing forth for your friend, for exhilaration, the purified one; delight him with offerings as one would a child with praises.
Like a calf with its mothers, the drop is impelled and pressed forth; the exhilarating draught, adorned by thoughts, is made ready for the gods.
