Indra, fierce as a wild beast roaming the rugged mountains, arrived at the very stronghold of the enemy. With determined hands, he fitted a sharp arrow to his bow, ready to strike. Indra, mighty warrior, brought his power to bear, scattering the foes and crushing the adversaries. In the wake of this divine protection, the people turned their prayers to the gods, yearning to hear only what is auspicious and good. They asked that their eyes behold what is blessed, seeking the favor of the worshipful deities. With strong limbs and grateful hearts, they praised the gods, wishing to live out the span of life granted by the divine. They invoked Indra, whose glory is renowned, to grant them well-being. They called upon Pūṣan, the all-knowing, for his benevolent care. They entreated Tārkṣya, whose wheels are never broken, for his steadfast protection. And they sought the blessing of Bṛhaspati, the wise, to bestow well-being upon them. Finally, with reverence, they uttered: “Om, may Bṛhaspati grant us well-being.
