With divine mind, O god Soma, mighty one, contend for our share of wealth; let not your strength be diminished by either side in the contest for the prize.
These Dawns have made their sign; in the eastern half of the sky they spread their radiance; like warriors putting on armor, the red cows, their mothers, set out.
The ruddy rays have risen, their own force unrestrained; the red cows have been yoked to their course; the Dawns have performed their ancient paths, the shining ones have taken on their bright radiance.
The women sing, as if with streams, with a common bond they move together; bearing nourishment for the generous doer of good, all of them come to the sacrificer who presses the Soma.
She weaves her garments like a dancer, she covers her breast like a cow with her calf; making light for all the worlds, the Dawns, like cows, return to the fold.
Her shining radiance has appeared, she stands forth, she drives away the black darkness; like a bright ornament at the assemblies, the Daughter of Heaven has displayed her brilliance.

O Dawn, grant us fame, heroic sons, wealth of horses, and abundant riches; you who shine with generous glory, bring us great and splendid prosperity.
The goddess, seeing all the worlds, shines forth with her wide gaze; you move among all living beings, awakening them, making known the speech of all.
Ever anew, though ancient, she is born again and again, adorning herself with the same color; like a skilled woman, she drives away the darkness, the goddess diminishes the mortal's life.
