The self-purifying, flowing Somas have advanced; they create abundant, conscious wealth.
O Soma, dwelling above heaven and earth, increaser of glory, become the lord of treasures.
For you, the winds are eager; for you, the rivers rush; Soma, your greatness grows.
Fill yourself, Soma, let your strength gather from all sides; become the meeting-place of riches.
For you, O tawny one, the cows have milked out inexhaustible ghee and milk upon the highest ridge.
O lord of all that exists, armed with your own might, Soma, we seek your friendship.
The Somas, pressed and overflowing with delight, have advanced for our fame, O generous one, in the assembly.
Then the women of Trita press the tawny one with stones, the drop for Indra to drink.
Then, like a swan to its flock, he awakens the thought of all; like a horse, he is yoked with cows.
Soma, you speak both words; like a marked deer you rush, sitting in the womb of truth.
The cows have lowed for you, as a woman for her beloved; they have come to the race as to their appointed place.
Grant us radiant glory, Soma, for the generous and for me; bestow lasting wisdom and fame.
The wise Somas flow forth, like waves of water, like buffaloes through the forests.
The tawny ones, bright with the stream of truth, have overflowed the vessels, bringing unceasing wealth with cows.
Pressed for Indra, Vayu, Varuna, and the Maruts, the Somas flow for Vishnu as well.
Three voices are raised; the cows low, the milch-cows call; the tawny one comes bellowing.
The Brahman-prayers have resounded, the mighty mothers of truth; they cleanse the child of heaven.
O Soma, from all sides pour forth for us the four seas of wealth, abounding in thousands.
The pressed Soma, set in motion by the filter, flows onward; breaking through the strongholds with its might.
The Soma flows, pressed for Indra, Vāyu, Varuṇa, the Maruts, and for Viṣṇu.
The bulls, yoked with the bull, press Soma with stones; by their power they draw forth the milk.
He becomes the delight of Trita, he becomes the exhilaration for Indra; the tawny one is adorned with forms.
The mothers of Prishni draw out the summit of the immortal; the lovely, most beloved offering.
With one mind, these unceasing songs flow toward him; the cows, eager, have lowed.
Purifier, flow to us with the filter, bringing wide wealth, by which you reveal light for us.
O Indu, swell toward the ocean, flow, stirring all; as the supporter of wealth for us with your strength.
With you, hero, may we, heroes, overcome our foes in battle; let desirable riches flow to us.
The Soma, desiring strength, will seek the prize; the sage, knowing the ordinances, the weapons.
With songs we send forth the purified, swelling Soma, the lord of the people.
All people have placed their trust in the ordinance of the Lord of Order, in the purified, mighty one.
