परि दिव्यानि मर्मृशद्विश्वानि सोम पार्थिवा । वसूनि याह्यस्मयुः
Soma, you have touched all the heavenly and earthly treasures; come to the wealth that is here.
एष धिया यात्यण्व्या शूरो रथेभिराशुभिः । गच्छन्निन्द्रस्य निष्कृतम्
This one, wise and subtle, goes forth with swift chariots, seeking the offering of Indra.
एष पुरू धियायते बृहते देवतातये । यत्रामृतास आसते
This one is praised by many with thought, for the great divinity, where the immortals dwell.
एष हितो वि नीयतेऽन्तः शुभ्रावता पथा । यदी तुञ्जन्ति भूर्णयः
This one, set in motion, is led forth along the shining path, when the pressing stones urge him on.
एष शृङ्गाणि दोधुवच्छिशीते यूथ्यो वृषा । नृम्णा दधान ओजसा
This one shakes his horns, the youthful bull of the herd, bearing strength and vigor.
एष रुक्मिभिरीयते वाजी शुभ्रेभिरंशुभिः । पतिः सिन्धूनां भवन्
This one advances with golden ornaments, the swift one with shining rays, becoming lord of the rivers.
एष वसूनि पिब्दना परुषा ययिवाँ अति । अव शादेषु गच्छति
This one, drinking the treasures, passes beyond the rough places, and goes down into the vessels.
एतं मृजन्ति मर्ज्यमुप द्रोणेष्वायवः । प्रचक्राणं महीरिषः
This one, to be cleansed, the grains purify in the troughs, moving with great strength.
एतमु त्यं दश क्षिपो मृजन्ति सप्त धीतयः । स्वायुधं मदिन्तमम्
This one, ten fingers and seven thoughts cleanse, most intoxicating, with his own weapon.
प्र ते सोतार ओण्यो रसं मदाय घृष्वये । सर्गो न तक्त्येतशः
The skillful pressers have poured out the juice for your delight, like a stream, swiftly flowing.
क्रत्वा दक्षस्य रथ्यमपो वसानमन्धसा । गोषामण्वेषु सश्चिम
With the resolve of skill, the path of the wise, seeking the cows, we join with the exhilarating drink.
अनप्तमप्सु दुष्टरं सोमं पवित्र आ सृज । पुनीहीन्द्राय पातवे
Release the Soma, unattained and hard to cross in the waters, through the filter; purify it for Indra to drink.
प्र पुनानस्य चेतसा सोमः पवित्रे अर्षति । क्रत्वा सधस्थमासदत्
With the mind of the purifier, Soma flows through the filter, with resolve, he sits in the seat.
प्र त्वा नमोभिरिन्दव इन्द्र सोमा असृक्षत । महे भराय कारिणः
With reverence, the drops of Soma have flowed for you, Indra, for the great offering of the makers.
पुनानो रूपे अव्यये विश्वा अर्षन्नभि श्रियः । शूरो न गोषु तिष्ठति
Purifying, in unchanging form, Soma flows through all the splendors; like a hero, he stands among the cows.
दिवो न सानु पिप्युषी धारा सुतस्य वेधसः । वृथा पवित्रे अर्षति
Like the nourishing ridge of heaven, the stream of the pressed, creative one, Soma flows freely through the filter.
त्वं सोम विपश्चितं तना पुनान आयुषु । अव्यो वारं वि धावसि
You, Soma, wise, purifying yourself in your own life, drive away the covering, letting the waters flow.
प्र निम्नेनेव सिन्धवो घ्नन्तो वृत्राणि भूर्णयः । सोमा असृग्रमाशवः
Like rivers descending, striking obstacles, the pressing stones, the swift Soma streams have flowed.
अभि सुवानास इन्दवो वृष्टयः पृथिवीमिव । इन्द्रं सोमासो अक्षरन्
The drops, well-pressed, like rains upon the earth, have rushed toward Indra, the Somas have moved.
अत्यूर्मिर्मत्सरो मदः सोमः पवित्रे अर्षति । विघ्नन्रक्षांसि देवयुः
The exhilarating, joyful intoxication, Soma flows through the filter, destroying the demons, divine in action.
आ कलशेषु धावति पवित्रे परि षिच्यते । उक्थैर्यज्ञेषु वर्धते
He rushes into the vessels, is poured around the purifier; he grows with hymns in the sacrifices.
अति त्री सोम रोचना रोहन्न भ्राजसे दिवम् । इष्णन्सूर्यं न चोदयः
You, Soma, surpass the three luminous realms, rising, you shine in the sky; desiring, you urge on the sun.
अभि विप्रा अनूषत मूर्धन्यज्ञस्य कारवः । दधानाश्चक्षसि प्रियम्
The sages have sung forth, the makers of the sacrifice at its summit, placing what is dear to your gaze.
तमु त्वा वाजिनं नरो धीभिर्विप्रा अवस्यवः । मृजन्ति देवतातये
You, the strong one, the men cleanse with their thoughts, O wise ones, seeking help, for the purpose of divinity.
मधोर्धारामनु क्षर तीव्रः सधस्थमासदः । चारुरृताय पीतये
Let the intense stream of honey flow, settling in the seat; beautiful for truth, for drinking.
परि सुवानो गिरिष्ठाः पवित्रे सोमो अक्षाः । मदेषु सर्वधा असि
Soma, pressed, flows around the mountain peaks in the purifier; you are present in all delights.
त्वं विप्रस्त्वं कविर्मधु प्र जातमन्धसः । मदेषु सर्वधा असि
You are the sage, you are the poet, sweet, born of the exhilarating juice; you are present in all delights.
तव विश्वे सजोषसो देवासः पीतिमाशत । मदेषु सर्वधा असि
All the gods together have desired your drinking; you are present in all delights.
आ यो विश्वानि वार्या वसूनि हस्तयोर्दधे । मदेषु सर्वधा असि
He who has placed all desirable treasures in his hands; you are present in all delights.
य इमे रोदसी मही सं मातरेव दोहते । मदेषु सर्वधा असि
He who milks the vast earth and heaven together, as a mother; you are present in all delights.
