As you heard the pressing of Shyavashva, so listen now, as you listened to the deeds of Atri performing the rites. You alone, O Indra, have protected Trasadasyu, subduing men, exalting the hymns.
प्रेदं ब्रह्म वृत्रतूर्येष्वाविथ प्र सुन्वतः शचीपत इन्द्र विश्वाभिरूतिभिः । माध्यंदिनस्य सवनस्य वृत्रहन्ननेद्य पिबा सोमस्य वज्रिवः

For you are the priests of the sacrifice, ever victorious in contests and deeds; O Indra and Agni, be aware of this.
तोशासा रथयावाना वृत्रहणापराजिता । इन्द्राग्नी तस्य बोधतम्
Swift as thought, riding in your chariot, slayers of Vritra, unconquered; O Indra and Agni, be aware of this.
इदं वां मदिरं मध्वधुक्षन्नद्रिभिर्नरः । इन्द्राग्नी तस्य बोधतम्
This sweet draught, rich with honey, the men have pressed with stones; O Indra and Agni, be aware of this.
जुषेथां यज्ञमिष्टये सुतं सोमं सधस्तुती । इन्द्राग्नी आ गतं नरा
May you accept the sacrifice for the desired offering, the pressed Soma, with praise at the seat; Indra and Agni, come forth, O heroes.
इमा जुषेथां सवना येभिर्हव्यान्यूहथुः । इन्द्राग्नी आ गतं नरा
May you accept these libations, by which you carry the oblations; Indra and Agni, come forth, O heroes.
इमां गायत्रवर्तनिं जुषेथां सुष्टुतिं मम । इन्द्राग्नी आ गतं नरा
May you accept this Gayatri-versed praise of mine, this excellent hymn; Indra and Agni, come forth, O heroes.
प्रातर्यावभिरा गतं देवेभिर्जेन्यावसू । इन्द्राग्नी सोमपीतये
Come forth in the morning with your chariots, together with the gods, O born lords of wealth; Indra and Agni, for the drinking of Soma.
श्यावाश्वस्य सुन्वतोऽत्रीणां शृणुतं हवम् । इन्द्राग्नी सोमपीतये
Hear the invocation of Shyavashva, the presser, of the Atris; Indra and Agni, for the drinking of Soma.
एवा वामह्व ऊतये यथाहुवन्त मेधिराः । इन्द्राग्नी सोमपीतये
Thus I call you for aid, as the wise ones have called; Indra and Agni, for the drinking of Soma.
आहं सरस्वतीवतोरिन्द्राग्न्योरवो वृणे । याभ्यां गायत्रमृच्यते
I invoke the favor of Sarasvati and the two, Indra and Agni, by whom the Gayatri is sung.
अग्निमस्तोष्यृग्मियमग्निमीळा यजध्यै । अग्निर्देवाँ अनक्तु न उभे हि विदथे कविरन्तश्चरति दूत्यं नभन्तामन्यके समे
I will praise Agni with a hymn, I will honor Agni for worship; may Agni, the gods, grant us favor, for the sage moves within both assemblies as a messenger, let others be silent in the same place.
न्यग्ने नव्यसा वचस्तनूषु शंसमेषाम् । न्यराती रराव्णां विश्वा अर्यो अरातीरितो युच्छन्त्वामुरो नभन्तामन्यके समे
O Agni, with new words I praise the well-being of these people; may all the Aryas, free from hostility, unite with you, let others be silent in the same place.
अग्ने मन्मानि तुभ्यं कं घृतं न जुह्व आसनि । स देवेषु प्र चिकिद्धि त्वं ह्यसि पूर्व्यः शिवो दूतो विवस्वतो नभन्तामन्यके समे
Agni, to you I offer my thoughts, as one pours clarified butter; so may you make it known among the gods, for you are ancient, a gracious messenger of Vivasvan, let others be silent in the same place.
तत्तदग्निर्वयो दधे यथायथा कृपण्यति । ऊर्जाहुतिर्वसूनां शं च योश्च मयो दधे विश्वस्यै देवहूत्यै नभन्तामन्यके समे
Agni has established each vigor as it is needed; the offering of strength for the wealth of the Vasus, and he has placed joy and delight for the invocation of all the gods, let others be silent in the same place.
स चिकेत सहीयसाग्निश्चित्रेण कर्मणा । स होता शश्वतीनां दक्षिणाभिरभीवृत इनोति च प्रतीव्यं नभन्तामन्यके समे
He perceives with greater power, Agni, through his splendid action; he is the priest of the perpetual rites, adorned with gifts, and he brings forth prosperity, let others be silent in the same place.
अग्निर्जाता देवानामग्निर्वेद मर्तानामपीच्यम् । अग्निः स द्रविणोदा अग्निर्द्वारा व्यूर्णुते स्वाहुतो नवीयसा नभन्तामन्यके समे
Agni is born among the gods, Agni knows among mortals what is to be attained; Agni is the giver of wealth, Agni opens the doors, called by the offering, with renewed favor, let others be silent in the same place.
अग्निर्देवेषु संवसुः स विक्षु यज्ञियास्वा । स मुदा काव्या पुरु विश्वं भूमेव पुष्यति देवो देवेषु यज्ञियो नभन्तामन्यके समे
Agni dwells among the gods, he is worthy in the sacrifices among the peoples; with gladness he nourishes all the wise, like the earth, the god is worthy among the gods for sacrifice, let others be silent in the same place.
