I seek you, Pūṣan, for favor, I seek you for praise, O radiant one; I do not seek another's enmity, for that, O giver, I praise you with song and hymn.
The cows, O radiant one, have perhaps gone to the pasture, ever marked, immortal; be our protector, Pūṣan, be gracious, most mighty for the gaining of strength.
Grant us abundant wealth, a hundred horses, among the gifts of the swift king, the fortunate one; among the Turvashas may we find favor in his bounties.
With the thoughts of the Kanva, the prize-winner, with dear praises, with shining hymns, we have driven out sixty thousand herds of cattle, the seer has released the troops.
Even the trees have not withstood my onrush; they break apart, and the cows are divided, the horses are divided by my power.
From afar, as if truly, the red-hued one, shining with moisture, has spread out his radiance, upholding all things.
Like men, O wondrous pair, with minds yoked to your broad-powered chariot, you accompany Ushas, O Ashvins.
To you two, bestowers of wealth in horses, the hymns have come forth, as a messenger brings speech.
You who are much beloved for aid, very gracious, possessing much wealth, the Kanvas praise you, O Ashvins.
Most mighty winners of wealth, bringers of glory, lords of beauty, come to the house of the worshipper.
For the well-worshipping, generous one, bestow good wisdom and guidance; pour out streams of milk with ghee.
Come swiftly to our hymn, you two, with your falcons, with your rapid steeds; come, O Ashvins, with your horses.
With which you traversed the three distant shining realms of heaven, you two passed through all the regions.
Grant us, too, abundant wealth with cattle, and prosperity, O day-bringers; open wide the path for our journey.
To us, O Ashvins, bring wealth rich in cattle, strong men, splendid chariots, and abundance with horses.
Ever-growing, lords of beauty, wondrous ones, with golden wheels, drink the honeyed Soma.
To us, bestowers of wealth in horses, and to the generous, bring wide protection, O you two who delight in praise.
To the prayers of the people, come near; hasten here; do not turn aside to another.
Of this sweet exhilaration, O Ashvins, you two drink, you lords of the chariot, of the honeyed gift.
Bring to us wealth, a hundredfold, a thousandfold, abundant, supporting all people.
Indeed, in many places, O men, the wise call upon you; come, O Ashvins, with those who praise.
The people, with strewn sacred grass, bearing offerings, adorned, call upon you, O Ashvins.
Today, O wondrous ones, may this praise of ours, most excellent and intimate, reach you; may it be with you, Ashvins.
O Ashvins, drink from that vessel of honey which has been placed for you, O charioteers among men.
With that, O givers of horses, bring us abundant nourishment for cattle, offspring, and cows.
May you grant us blessings from heaven, and from the flowing rivers; may you pour them down as through doors.
When will the son of Tugra, having set out on the sea, be abandoned by you, O men, or when will your chariot break apart?
You, O Nasatyas, have always favored Kanva, the generous one, in his house, with your constant aids.
Come with those newer, most auspicious aids, by which I, calling you, O mighty ones, seek your favor.
Just as you protected Kanva, the dear and praised, and Atri, O Ashvins, and Shinjara as well.
