May all the gods, the universal deities, be gracious to us; may Sarasvatī, together with the wise, be favorable. May the healers and the bestowers of gifts be gracious; may the celestial, terrestrial, and aquatic beings bring us blessing.

May the Ādityas, Rudras, and Vasus accept this new hymn being composed. May the celestial and terrestrial beings, those born of cows and those worthy of sacrifice, hear us.
Those who are worthy of sacrifice among the gods, who are worshipful, immortal, and know the truth—may they grant us wide protection today. May you always guard us with blessings.
Let the hymn go forth from the seat of truth; the Sun has sent out his rays and the cows. The wide Earth has spread out with her slopes; Agni has settled in the center with broad aspect.
To you, Mitra and Varuṇa, I compose this well-praised hymn, like nourishment, O mighty ones, anew. Your path, unerring, is to be followed; Mitra strives for the people, speaking as a friend.
They delight in the rushing wind as it moves, like cows eager for the milking. Born in the seat of the great sky, the bull has bellowed at that udder.
With speech, O Indra, who yokes these two dear, swift, and beloved bays, O hero, O holder of the chariot, who restrains the wrath of one seeking to harm, may we obtain the favor of Aryaman, the wise.
They worship his friendship, and we, the reverent, seek the domain of truth; he has scattered the foes for the praising men—this homage is offered to Rudra, the most excellent.
When, together, the Sarasvati, the seventh, mother of rivers, full of glory, who are easy to approach, rich in milk and flowing with sweet streams, swell with their own waters.
And may those Maruts, delighting, protect our thought and offspring, O strong ones; let not the unsteady, wandering ones harm us—may your yoked wealth ever increase for us.
Make for yourselves great delight; call upon Pūṣan, the heroic one of the assembly; may Bhaga, the protector of our thoughts, grant us success in this contest, wealth, and generous bounty.
To you, Maruts, this praise is addressed; to Viṣṇu, the showerer, with your help; and for offspring, for the singer who seeks strength—may you always guard us with well-being.
Let the swiftest chariot, unsoiled, carry you here for praise, O givers of strength, O Ṛbhus; with triple-backed Soma at the pressings, rejoice, O fair-bearded ones, with great powers.
You indeed bestow treasure upon the generous, O Ṛbhus, O givers of strength, unsoiled; come, drink at the sacrifices, full of vigor, and grant us riches with your thoughts.
For you, O generous one, have spoken the desired word at the division of the great wealth; both your hands are full of riches—right speech does not restrain your generosity.
You, O Indra, famed for your own glory, or you, O Ṛbhus, like a good steed, will not go to darkness; may we, your worshippers, be yours, O Vasiṣṭhas, making prayer, O golden-haired one.
You are the bestower, even to the one who serves, O Haryaśva, you enter with your powers; may your helpful aids come to us—when, O Indra, will you make us enjoy your wealth?
Like a wise friend, you clothe us, O Indra—when will you heed our words? With thought, you bring wealth and strong sons; may the strong one bring our herds near.
Even the goddess Nirṛti rules over him whom the well-yoked autumns do not mark, O Indra; the three-banded, old-toothed one approaches him, whom mortals make without a dwelling.
May Savitar bring us riches for praise; may wealth come to us at the mountain's bounty; may the divine guardian always protect us—may you always guard us with well-being.
The god Savitar has risen, let us go forth; let us seek the golden-minded one who brings prosperity; now Bhaga, worthy of invocation among men, who bestows treasures, is to be honored.
Rise up, O Savitar, hear our call, O golden-handed, at the gift-bestowing; spreading wide earth and sky, send forth prosperity, bringing to men the food of mortals.
May the god Savitar, praised, be present, whom even the Vasus, all together, praise; may he grant us our hymns and reverence, may he protect our leaders with all the guardians.
Whom goddess Aditi praises, delighting in the might of god Savitar; whom king Varuṇa praises, and Mitra and Aryaman together.
