As the wind, as the forest, as the ocean moves, so may you, ten-month child, come forth together with the womb.
The boy who has lain ten months in the mother, let him come out alive, unharmed, alive upon the living.

Those fires who praise you, O radiant one, with hymns, O Dawn, with gifts, O bountiful, beautiful, dwelling in the house, bestower of noble offspring and good speech.
If indeed these hosts conceal you for the sake of bounty, yet the generous ones have placed all around the gifts you give, O well-born, bestower of horses and good speech.
Place among these, O bountiful Dawn, glory rich in heroes among the generous; those generous ones, O well-born, bestower of horses and good speech, have granted us gifts without reluctance.
Bring to them, O bountiful Dawn, great glory and wide renown; those generous ones, O well-born, bestower of horses and good speech, who share with us gifts of horses and cattle.
And bring to us, O daughter of the sky, wealth abounding in cattle, together with the bright rays of the sun, shining with brilliant beams, O well-born, bestower of horses and good speech.
Shine forth, O daughter of the sky, do not long withhold your form; drive away the thief as an enemy, as the sun scorches with its ray, O well-born, bestower of horses and good speech.
As much as you have given to the knowing, you are worthy to give even more; you, O well-born, bestower of horses and good speech, who, shining forth, are never diminished for your praisers.
The shining, great one, upholding truth with truth, reddish, appearing in the waters, the goddess Dawn, bringing light, the inspired ones praise her with their thoughts.
She, manifest, awakens the people, making easy paths, she goes first; with a great chariot, great, she bestows all strength, Dawn sends forth light at the beginning of days.

She becomes visible, with two plaits, revealing her form in front; she follows the path of truth well, as one who knows, she does not miss the directions.
She, bright, as if displaying her body, stands upright for our sight as if bathed; repelling hatred and darkness, Dawn, daughter of the sky, has come with light.

They harness the mind and they harness the thoughts, the inspired ones of the inspired, great, wise one; for the knower of rites, he alone has established the offerings—this great praise of the god Savitar.
The sage releases all forms; he sends forth good fortune to two-footed and four-footed beings; Savitar, the choicest, has revealed the sky, he shines forth at the setting out of the Dawns.
Whose setting out others, desiring, have followed—the gods, by the greatness of the god; he who has measured the earthly regions, that god Savitar, by his greatness, has measured the spaces.
And you go, O Savitar, through the three luminous realms, and are united with the rays of the sun; and you encompass night on both sides, and you become Mitra, O god, by your laws.
You alone are the lord of impulse, and you become Pūṣan, O god, by your courses; and you shine forth over this entire world, O Savitar of the dark horse, for whom the hymn is chanted.

For Savitar, the divine distributor, bestows treasures upon the worshipper; we seek that splendid portion.

Today, with hymns, we choose the true Savitar, the lord of all gods, the master of truth.
