Dawn has come, the bright beast, Agni, has been kindled as the priest; your strong-wealthed chariot, O wondrous ones, has been yoked by the immortal—may you hear my sweet invocation.
Agni shines forth with the dawn at the forefront, and the inspired words of the priests have arisen; now, O Ashvins, come here with your chariot, bringing the warm drink.
No prepared path restrains you; come now, O Ashvins, to this praise; by day, with your help, come for the drink, turning back towards the worshiper, most gracious ones.
