प्र वामवोचमश्विना धियंधा रथः स्वश्वो अजरो यो अस्ति । येन सद्यः परि रजांसि याथो हविष्मन्तं तरणिं भोजमच्छ
I have declared your wisdom, Ashvins, your chariot with its own horses, ageless as it is; by which you swiftly traverse the realms, coming at once to the generous, offering lord.
अग्रं पिबा मधूनां सुतं वायो दिविष्टिषु । त्वं हि पूर्वपा असि
Drink the foremost of the sweet juices, O Vayu, pressed in the dwellings of heaven; for you are indeed the first to drink.
शतेना नो अभिष्टिभिर्नियुत्वाँ इन्द्रसारथिः । वायो सुतस्य तृम्पतम्
With a hundred aids, with your team, O charioteer of Indra, O Vayu, be pleased with the pressed Soma.
आ वां सहस्रं हरय इन्द्रवायू अभि प्रयः । वहन्तु सोमपीतये
Let a thousand steeds, O Indra and Vayu, bring you hither for the drinking of Soma.
रथं हिरण्यवन्धुरमिन्द्रवायू स्वध्वरम् । आ हि स्थाथो दिविस्पृशम्
Your chariot, adorned with gold, O Indra and Vayu, well-yoked, has come, touching the sky.
रथेन पृथुपाजसा दाश्वांसमुप गच्छतम् । इन्द्रवायू इहा गतम्
With your broad-powered chariot, come to the worshipper; Indra and Vayu, come here.
इन्द्रवायू अयं सुतस्तं देवेभिः सजोषसा । पिबतं दाशुषो गृहे
Indra and Vayu, this Soma is pressed; drink it together with the gods in the house of the worshipper.
इह प्रयाणमस्तु वामिन्द्रवायू विमोचनम् । इह वां सोमपीतये
Here may your coming be, Indra and Vayu, your release; here is your place for drinking Soma.
वायो शुक्रो अयामि ते मध्वो अग्रं दिविष्टिषु । आ याहि सोमपीतये स्पार्हो देव नियुत्वता
Vayu, I approach your bright, foremost honey in the dwellings of heaven; come for the drinking of Soma, splendid god, with your team.
इन्द्रश्च वायवेषां सोमानां पीतिमर्हथः । युवां हि यन्तीन्दवो निम्नमापो न सध्र्यक्
Indra and Vayu, you are worthy of the drinking of these Somas; for to you the drops come together, as waters flow to the same place.
वायविन्द्रश्च शुष्मिणा सरथं शवसस्पती । नियुत्वन्ता न ऊतय आ यातं सोमपीतये
O Vayu and Indra, mighty and powerful, together with your chariot, lords of strength, come with your attendants, come for the drinking of Soma.
या वां सन्ति पुरुस्पृहो नियुतो दाशुषे नरा । अस्मे ता यज्ञवाहसेन्द्रवायू नि यच्छतम्
Whatever attendants you possess, O noble ones, who are eager to serve, O Indra and Vayu, bring them to us for the carrying of the sacrifice.
विहि होत्रा अवीता विपो न रायो अर्यः । वायवा चन्द्रेण रथेन याहि सुतस्य पीतये
Having prepared the offerings and protected the rites, like noble ones who distribute wealth, O Vayu, come with your shining chariot for the drinking of the pressed Soma.
निर्युवाणो अशस्तीर्नियुत्वाँ इन्द्रसारथिः । वायवा चन्द्रेण रथेन याहि सुतस्य पीतये
Driving away curses, accompanied by attendants, with Indra as charioteer, O Vayu, come with your shining chariot for the drinking of the pressed Soma.
अनु कृष्णे वसुधिती येमाते विश्वपेशसा । वायवा चन्द्रेण रथेन याहि सुतस्य पीतये
Along the fertile black earth, adorned with all beauty, O Vayu, come with your shining chariot for the drinking of the pressed Soma.
वहन्तु त्वा मनोयुजो युक्तासो नवतिर्नव । वायवा चन्द्रेण रथेन याहि सुतस्य पीतये
Let ninety-nine horses, yoked by thought, carry you, O Vayu, come with your shining chariot for the drinking of the pressed Soma.
वायो शतं हरीणां युवस्व पोष्याणाम् । उत वा ते सहस्रिणो रथ आ यातु पाजसा
O Vayu, yoke a hundred steeds of nourishment; and let your thousand-horsed chariot come swiftly.
इदं वामास्ये हविः प्रियमिन्द्राबृहस्पती । उक्थं मदश्च शस्यते
This offering is for you, O Indra and Brihaspati, beloved; praise and exhilaration are celebrated.
अयं वां परि षिच्यते सोम इन्द्राबृहस्पती । चारुर्मदाय पीतये
This Soma is poured out for you, O Indra and Brihaspati, lovely for delight and drinking.
आ न इन्द्राबृहस्पती गृहमिन्द्रश्च गच्छतम् । सोमपा सोमपीतये
Come to our house, O Indra and Brihaspati, O drinkers of Soma, for the drinking of Soma.
अस्मे इन्द्राबृहस्पती रयिं धत्तं शतग्विनम् । अश्वावन्तं सहस्रिणम्
Grant us, O Indra and Brihaspati, wealth with a hundred cows, with horses, with thousands.
इन्द्राबृहस्पती वयं सुते गीर्भिर्हवामहे । अस्य सोमस्य पीतये
O Indra and Brihaspati, we invoke you with songs at the pressing, for the drinking of this Soma.
सोममिन्द्राबृहस्पती पिबतं दाशुषो गृहे । मादयेथां तदोकसा
Drink the Soma, O Indra and Brihaspati, in the house of the worshipper; rejoice in that dwelling.
यस्तस्तम्भ सहसा वि ज्मो अन्तान्बृहस्पतिस्त्रिषधस्थो रवेण । तं प्रत्नास ऋषयो दीध्यानाः पुरो विप्रा दधिरे मन्द्रजिह्वम्
He who upheld the heavens with might, Brihaspati, standing on the threefold seat, with his roar; him, the ancient sages, shining, the wise ones, placed in front, with delightful tongue.
धुनेतयः सुप्रकेतं मदन्तो बृहस्पते अभि ये नस्ततस्रे । पृषन्तं सृप्रमदब्धमूर्वं बृहस्पते रक्षतादस्य योनिम्
Those who are swift, rejoicing, with clear vision, O Brihaspati, who have approached us, let them protect the source of the streaming, unbroken milk; O Brihaspati, guard its origin.
बृहस्पते या परमा परावदत आ त ऋतस्पृशो नि षेदुः । तुभ्यं खाता अवता अद्रिदुग्धा मध्व श्चोतन्त्यभितो विरप्शम्
O Brihaspati, those who spoke far and beyond, the seekers of truth have sat near you; for you, the hollow places, the wells, milked from the stone, pour out honey all around, abundant.
बृहस्पतिः प्रथमं जायमानो महो ज्योतिषः परमे व्योमन् । सप्तास्यस्तुविजातो रवेण वि सप्तरश्मिरधमत्तमांसि
Brihaspati, first born, arising in the highest heaven of great light, with seven mouths, well-born, with his roar, with seven rays, scattered the darkness.
स सुष्टुभा स ऋक्वता गणेन वलं रुरोज फलिगं रवेण । बृहस्पतिरुस्रिया हव्यसूदः कनिक्रदद्वावशतीरुदाजत्
With the Stoma, with the Rik, with his company, he broke open Vala, the enclosure, with his roar; Brihaspati, the sacrificer, the caller, loudly called, and the cows rushed forth.
एवा पित्रे विश्वदेवाय वृष्णे यज्ञैर्विधेम नमसा हविर्भिः । बृहस्पते सुप्रजा वीरवन्तो वयं स्याम पतयो रयीणाम्
Thus, to the Father, to the All-Gods, to the mighty one, let us offer worship with reverence and oblations; O Brihaspati, may we be blessed with noble offspring, heroic sons, and be masters of riches.
स इद्राजा प्रतिजन्यानि विश्वा शुष्मेण तस्थावभि वीर्येण । बृहस्पतिं यः सुभृतं बिभर्ति वल्गूयति वन्दते पूर्वभाजम्
He, the king, stands firm against all adversaries, with strength and valor; whoever supports Brihaspati, well-nourished, praises and honors him, the ancient benefactor.
