Today, I seek your drink and your exhilaration, O gods, for the sake of friendship, not without effort; therefore, O Ṛbhus, place riches for us in this third pressing.
May Ṛbhu, Vibhvan, Vāja, and Indra come to this sacrifice of ours, bearing the treasure; for today the divine Dhīṣaṇā has prepared the drink, let the exhilaration reach you.
O skillful ones, born for prizes and strength, rejoice, O Ṛbhus, in the seasons. Let your exhilaration come together, let your generosity unite, grant us heroic sons and bestow wealth upon us.
This sacrifice, O Ṛbhus, has been prepared for you, which you have established among men in the heights. You have stood forth, eager for praise; all the foremost prizes have become yours.
For you, O givers, the treasure has been set apart, for the worshipper, for the mortal who serves. Drink, O Ṛbhus, the prize has been given to you; the third libation is offered for your delight.
Come, O prize-bearers, like Ṛbhus, O mighty ones, O givers of wealth, praised by men. Come to your drinkings, to the enjoyment of the days; these are present as if newly arrived at sunset.
Come, O offspring of power, approach this sacrifice, invoked with reverence. United, O radiant ones, and those who are with you, drink the honeyed Soma, bearing treasures and accompanied by Indra.
United with Indra and Varuṇa, drink Soma; united, O singer, with the Maruts. With the foremost, with those who guard the seasons, united with the wives of the gods, with those who bear treasures, united.
United with the Ādityas, rejoice; united, O Ṛbhus, with the mountains. United with the divine Savitar, united with the rivers bearing treasures.
Those who are the Aśvins, those who are fathers, those who are helpers, those Ṛbhus who fashioned the cow, those who made the horse, those who made the two chariots separately, those skillful men who accomplished noble deeds.
Those who have bestowed wealth with cows, with horses, with heroic sons, abundant riches, those foremost Ṛbhus, delighting, grant us, those who also give gifts to the singers.
You have not failed, nor have you transgressed, nor have you been blamed, O Ṛbhus, in this sacrifice. Together with Indra you rejoice, together with the Maruts, together with the kings, O gods, for the bestowal of treasures.
Come here, O offspring of power, O Ṛbhus of the Sudhanvanas, do not be absent. For in this libation your treasure is to be gained, and your exhilarations follow Indra.
The treasure of the Ṛbhus has arrived here, the drinking of the well-pressed Soma has taken place. By skill and by insight, you divided one cup into four.
You divided the cup into four, O friend, 'Learn,' you said. Then, O prize-bearers, you found the path to immortality, O Ṛbhus, skillful-handed, among the host of gods.
Was this cup made of clay, which you divided into four by skill? Now press the libation for delight, drink, O Ṛbhus, of the honeyed Soma.
By skill you made the parents young again, by skill you made the cup fit for the gods' drinking. By skill you fashioned the two horses for Indra's chariot, O Ṛbhus, bearers of prizes.
Whoever presses for you the strong libation for enjoyment during the days, to him, O Ṛbhus, grant wealth full of heroes, O mighty ones, delighting.
You drank the Soma pressed in the morning, O Indra of the tawny steeds; the midday libation is yours alone. Drink with the Ṛbhus, with those who bear treasures, O friend, as you have made by skill.
Those gods who became skillful, like eagles, have settled in heaven. Let them, O offspring of power, O Ṛbhus of the Sudhanvanas, grant the treasure, having become immortal.
When you accomplished the third pressing, the bestowal of riches, with keen insight and skillful hands, O Ribhus, that offering has been purified for you—drink it here with your powers and exhilaration.
Born without horses, without reins, yet fit for praise, a chariot with three wheels circles through the expanse; this is your great, divine proclamation, O Ribhus, as you sustain both heaven and earth.
You who fashioned the well-made, well-guided chariot, unwavering, surpassing the mind in thought—truly, for you is the draught of this offering; to you, O Ribhus, we declare the prize.
That, O Ribhus, is your renowned speech among the gods, your greatness, O skillful ones: when, though youthful, you restored your ancient parents to youth again for movement.
With your thought, you made one cup into four, and from a hide, you fashioned a cow; then, among the gods, you attained immortality—this, O Ribhus, is your praiseworthy deed.
The wealth of the Ribhus is most renowned from the beginning, famed for strength, which the men produced; the work of Vibhvan is to be proclaimed in the assemblies, whom the gods protected—he is wise among men.
He is a prize-winning steed, a sage with eloquence, a hero, steadfast in battles; he brings abundance and mighty strength, whom Vibhvan, the Ribhus, and Vaja have inspired.
The finest, most splendid form has been placed upon you—accept this praise, O Ribhus, O Vajas; for you are wise, seers, discerning—by this hymn we make you known.
You, knowing all, grant to us and to our inspired thoughts every noble enjoyment; fashion for us, O Ribhus, radiant, powerful, supreme wealth and enduring vigor.
Here grant us offspring, here grant us wealth, here fashion for us fame with heroism; by which we may surpass others—O Ribhus, grant us wondrous strength.
