Here, O Hariva, your divine sisters praise you, Indra, with help; when they loosened their bonds, they flowed forth in a long stream.

The invigorating soma, like a river, delights you; the power of the one who desires joy is yours; for us, the ray of the shining cow, swift and strong, comes near.

Hear us, O Indra, in our striving; grant us splendid prizes; for us, let all the nourishing gifts and treasures come; be mindful, O Maghavan, of our cows.
Now, praised, O Indra, now, sung, grant us nourishment for the doer, like rivers that fill; for you, O Hariva, a new hymn has been composed, may we, through wisdom, always be charioteers.
How did the great one grow, whose priest, accepting the sacrifice, approached the soma? Drinking, desiring, accepting the offering, the lofty one advanced, pure, for wealth.

How, at the breaking of dawn, did the god delight in the friendship of a mortal? How, at that time, did he show friendship to his companions, those who have sought the well-yoked desire in him?
What is that intimate friendship with companions? When shall we truly declare your brotherhood? For splendor, his form is well-shaped; his creations are most brilliant, shining like the light of the cow.
Desiring to slay the deceiver, the mighty one sharpened his fierce weapons; even the debtor, with debt, is not harsh there; far away, the unknown ones, he repelled at dawn.
For the truths, there are many attentive ones; the thought of truth destroys wrongs. The proclamation of truth pierced the deaf, their ears awakened, the pure ones, in their coming.
The firm foundations of truth are many, shining, wondrous in form. By truth, the long, nourishing streams flow; by truth, the cows have entered into truth.
He who goes by truth, he alone wins truth; the strength of truth, indeed, is victorious in the contest for cows. For truth, the earth is broad and deep; for truth, the cows are milked in the highest abode.
Now, praised Indra, now, lauded, may you grant nourishment to the worshipper, like rivers. For you, O wielder of the bay steeds, a new hymn has been composed; with thought, may we always be those who ride the chariot.
What praise has turned toward Indra, the mighty son, bringing him near with bounty? For the hero gives riches to the singer; he, the lord of cattle, has not driven our people away.

To him, the men call in the assembly, desiring to obtain, striving to make their bodies strong. When they come together, both sides, for the gain of offspring and progeny.

The peoples strive with energy, the strong ones, eager, in mutual contest for abundance. When the clans unite, the mighty ones, then they call upon Indra in the gathering.
Then, indeed, they worship Indra's power; then the offering is prepared, the sacrificial cake is spread. Then Soma is pressed, then the eager ones pour out; then they delight in the bull for the sacrifice.

He makes a path for him who, thus, presses and offers Soma to Indra. With united mind, they come together; he makes him a companion in the battles.

When the mighty one divided Samarya, when he declared the long contest to the Arya, he called forth his manly strength toward his wife, into the house, with the sharp ones who press Soma.
The lesser one moved about with greater wealth, unbought, I did not buy him again when he returned. Though lesser, he did not diminish by much; the poor, the skillful, indeed milk forth their speech.
Who will buy this my Indra with ten cows, when he has struck down the foes? Let him then give him back to me.
Now praised, O Indra, now sung, may you pour forth wealth for the worshipper, as rivers do. For you, O wielder of the bay steeds, a new hymn has been composed; with insight may we always be chariot-borne.

Who today chooses the help of the gods, who seeks the light of Aditi among the Ādityas? For whom do the Aśvins, Indra, Agni, and the portion of Soma drink together with one mind?
