I will praise great Indra, in whom all peoples, drinkers of Soma, find satisfaction as they desire; whom, wise in counsel, the gods, with Dhiṣaṇā, the all-skilled, made the smiter of Vṛtras.
Whom no one in battles, the self-ruler, surpasses or equals, the foremost among men, the best charioteer; who, most powerful, with his strengths, has destroyed the long-lived life of the Dasyu with his might.
Mighty in contests, swift in battles, never failing, he has split the two worlds, abounding in power. Like Bhaga at the sacrifice, worthy of invocation among thoughts, like a father, gracious, easily invoked, bestower of life.
The upholder of heaven, untouched by dust, rises high like a chariot driven by the wind, accompanied by treasures; the dweller of the nights, the begetter of the sun, the divider of the portion, like the inspired one who apportions the prize.
May we call upon generous Indra, the best among men, in this contest for the prize; the mighty one who hears our call for help in battles, who strikes down the foes and is victorious in wealth.
Let Indra, with the Maruts, come and drink the Soma offered with svāhā, the powerful bull; may he, of wide renown, be filled with these offerings and, pleased, fulfill the desires of our bodies.
For your speed I yoke the worship, so that we may attain your favor from the highest heaven; here let your bay steeds bring you, O fair-jawed one, drink of this well-pressed, delightful Soma.
With cattle they have established you, Indra, as the one who crosses well, for supremacy, for you who are praised; having drunk the exhilarating Soma, grant us, in many ways, the cows to be desired.
With cattle and horses, with shining wealth, fulfill this desire and spread it forth; the inspired Kuśikas, with their hymns, have fashioned the praise for you, Indra, bringer of light.
May we call upon generous Indra, the best among men, in this contest for the prize; the mighty one who hears our call for help in battles, who strikes down the foes and is victorious in wealth.
The mighty hymns have approached Indra, the supporter of peoples, worthy of praise; ever-growing, much-invoked, immortal, the ageless one, day by day, with splendid songs.
To Indra, the hundred-powered, the oceanic, the strong, the manly, the hymns come from every side; the winner of prizes, the breaker of forts, the swift, the helper, the seeker of abodes, the knower of light.
The singer seeks the source of wealth; Indra, praised, grants without fault; he has delighted in the seat of the sun; praise the one who conquers together and shatters opposition.
With hymns and praises, honor Indra, the best among men, the hero, the unconquered; he alone is lord from the highest heaven, strong in many ways, subduing adversaries, to him offer homage.
Many of his treasures are set among mortals; the earth bears abundant riches for him; for Indra, heaven, plants, and waters, the old woods, protect wealth.
For you, Indra, are the prayers and hymns; for you, O tawny one, the companions have placed them; be gracious, be mindful of our new request, friend, grant the singers long life.
Indra, with the Maruts, drink the Soma here, as you drank the pressed juice for Śāryāta; by your guidance, O hero, under your protection, the wise, well-sacrificing ones do not go astray.
So rejoicing, drink the Soma here, Indra, with the Maruts, your companions, our pressed offering; for when you were adorned by the gods at your birth, O much-invoked, you were made for great deeds.
The Maruts, eager, have gladdened Indra, the generous, with abundant gifts; with them, let the slayer of Vṛtra drink the pressed Soma in the seat of the worshipper.
This, indeed, is the pressed Soma, O lord of riches, with strength; drink of it, O lover of song.
Whatever portion of the pressed Soma is set aside for you, accept that for yourself; may the Soma nourish you.
May your belly be filled, Indra, with the offering; may your head be exalted by the hymn; may your arms, O champion, be extended for granting gifts.
Indra, in the morning, accept from us the curds, the porridge, the cakes, and the songs of praise.
Enjoy, Indra, the sacrificial cake prepared for you, and be pleased; to you the offerings are presented.
May you be pleased with our sacrificial cake and our praise, as a bridegroom delights in maidens.
O ever-renowned one, accept our sacrificial cake at the morning pressing; Indra, for your power is indeed great.

At the midday pressing, Indra, take the grains and the sacrificial cake here, the delightful one; for when the praiser, eager and swift, calls upon you with songs, you come, being urged on.
At the third pressing, O much-praised one, delight in the sacrificial cake offered to you; may we approach you, O wise one, rich in skill and strength, with our hymns.
For Pūṣan we have prepared the porridge, for the tawny-horsed one the grains; eat the cake, O Indra, together with the Maruts, and drink the soma, O slayer of Vṛtra, O wise hero.
Offer the grains to him, bring the sacrificial cake to that most heroic among men; day by day, Indra, may similar offerings increase for you, O bold one, for your drinking of soma.
