Stand on your well-fitted chariot, which, full of offerings, moves according to your vows; by which, O men, O Nāsatyas, you seek the path, you come for offspring and for yourselves.
May neither wolf nor she-wolf assail you, may you not turn aside nor be harmed; this share is set apart for you, this song, O wondrous ones, and here are your treasures of honey.
You, whom Gotama, the much-praising, and Atri, O wondrous ones, call for help with offerings; like a guide who leads straight to the goal, come, O Nāsatyas, to my invocation.

We have crossed beyond the farthest darkness; to you, O Aśvins, this praise has been offered; come here by the paths of the gods, that I may know this people, long-lived and flourishing.
Those, today and hereafter, I invoke for you, as the fire is kindled at the coming of dawn with hymns; O Nāsatyas, wherever you may be, sons of heaven, best givers of gifts.
May you, O strong ones, gladden us here; drive away the greedy, delighting in the wave; hear my words with your ears, O men, desired and knowing, with understanding.
For beauty, O Pūṣan, as a craftsman for the gods, O Nāsatyas, may you bear the chariot of Sūryā; your praises are spoken, born in the waters, your yokes, like Varuṇa’s fetters, are well joined.
May that sweet favor of yours be with us; accept the hymn of praise from the worthy singer. As your fame spreads, O generous ones, the peoples rejoice for heroic strength.

We have crossed beyond the darkness; for you, Ashvins, this hymn has been set forth. Come here by the divine paths; may we find this people, long-living and vigorous.
Which of these two is earlier, which is later? What do the wise say about their birth—who truly knows? When both, bearing all things in their being, move apart, day and night revolve like a wheel.
Two, moving together, traverse much; the one with feet carries the other without feet, bearing the embryo. Like a son always in the lap of his parents, may Heaven and Earth protect us from harm.
I call for the gift of Aditi, free from distress, shining with light, worthy of praise. May Heaven and Earth bring forth that for the singer; may Heaven and Earth protect us from harm.
When they are heated, endowed with strength, may we follow the twin children of the gods. Both, belonging to the gods, with both days, may Heaven and Earth protect us from harm.
Coming together, the two young women meet, sisters, wives, in the lap of their parents. Smelling the navel of the world, may Heaven and Earth protect us from harm.
Wide and vast, great in their abode, upholding the law, I call the mothers of the gods for help. They who bear the immortal, of beautiful aspect, may Heaven and Earth protect us from harm.
Wide, broad, far-reaching Earth and Heaven, I call with reverence in this sacrifice. They who bear good fortune, of excellent support, may Heaven and Earth protect us from harm.
If, O gods, we have committed any offense, whether against a friend, a constant companion, or a lord, may this prayer be for their forgiveness; may Heaven and Earth protect us from harm.
May both noble blessings come to me; may both strengths support me with their help. Even if many enemies are near, may the generous gods delight and grant us prosperity.
I have declared the truth for the sky, for the earth, for the hearing of the wise, first of all. May father and mother protect us from guilt and evil, with their help.
Let this, O Heaven and Earth, be true—what I now declare to you, father and mother. Be the nearest helpers of the gods; may we find this people, long-living and vigorous.
May the all-knowing god Savitar come to us with blessings at the assembly, accompanied by the goddesses of plenty. As young men gather, may all the world come together for our protection by his wisdom.
May all the gods come to us from every side—Mitra, Aryaman, Varuna, united. As all the mighty ones of the world, may they grant us strength, like a powerful band.
I praise you as the most welcome guest, O Agni, with blessings, together with the Turvani, united. May Varuna grant us good repute, and may the radiant sun carry us beyond hatred and want.
To you I come with reverence, seeking victory, O Ushas and Night, like a cow full of milk. Measuring the hymn on the same day, in your twofold forms, you hold the milk in that vessel.
And may Ahibudhnya, the bringer of happiness, lead us, as a nourishing mother leads her child; may the river carry us, by which we cross over the offspring of the waters, whom swift and mighty ones bear.
And may Tvashtar come here with our wise ones, united in purpose, to partake; may Indra, slayer of Vritra, most powerful among men, come here with the people.
And may our thoughts yoked with horses approach him, as cows lick their young calf; to him, the most fragrant among men, voices sing, as wives to a husband.
And may the Maruts, with their ancient host, be of one mind with us; like chariots drawn by dappled horses, like gods joined in friendship, may they be protectors.
When their greatness shines forth, they set forth, well-yoked and splendid; then, on a good day, their armies, like a sharp weapon, sweep away all obstacles.
