Angada, powerful, sprang upon him even more quickly, seized that sword from his hand, and roared aloud.
Angada struck his shoulder-plate with the sword, and, like a sacred thread, the monkey-chief cut it clean through.

Between Śoṇitākṣa and Prajaṅgha, the foremost monkey shone like the full moon standing between the twin Viśākha stars.
Mainda and Dvivida, protecting Angada, stood close by him, each eager to see the other.

Prajaṅgha, raising a massive sword capable of piercing vital points, rushed swiftly at Vāli's son.

Regaining consciousness, the valiant and illustrious son of Vali knocked Prajangha’s head from his body with his fist.
Yupaksha, his eyes filled with tears upon seeing his uncle slain in battle, swiftly descended from his chariot and, exhausted, took up his sword.
Seeing Yupaksha rushing forward, Dwivida, quick and enraged, struck him on the chest and seized him forcefully.
