For this reason, this one has come here to speak, with sweet words; his name is Dadhimukha, a monkey renowned for his valor.
O mighty-armed Saumitri, see truly: Sita has been seen, and thus all the monkeys, upon returning, drink honey.
Nor, without seeing Vaidehi, would those famous men, O best among men, have violated the divine grove granted to them.
Then, the righteous Lakshmana, together with Raghava, rejoiced, hearing the pleasing words that flowed from Sugriva's mouth.
Rama was exceedingly delighted, and Lakshmana, of great fame, too; hearing Dadhimukha's words, Sugriva also rejoiced.
Sugriva then addressed the forest guard again: 'I am pleased that the grove was enjoyed by those who have accomplished their task.'
The violation is to be tolerated, and their actions are fitting for those who have fulfilled their duty. Go quickly, protect Madhuvana yourself, and swiftly send all those monkeys, led by Hanuman.
I wish quickly to question those branch-dwelling monkeys, led by Hanuman, proud as kings of beasts, who have accomplished their purpose, together with the two Raghavas, and to hear their effort in finding Sita.
The two princes, their joy overflowing, and the king of the monkeys, seeing the monkeys' success, rejoiced greatly, knowing the task was accomplished, their arms drawn close in delight.

Let the sixty-fourth chapter be heard.
Thus addressed by Sugriva, Dadhimukha the monkey, delighted, greeted Raghava, Lakshmana, and Sugriva.
He bowed to Sugriva and to the mighty Raghavas, and together with the heroic monkeys, soared up to the sky.
Just as he had come before, so he departed swiftly; descending from the sky to the earth, he entered that grove.
Having entered Madhuvana, he saw the monkey chiefs, all intoxicated and arrogant, urinating honey-water.
The hero approached them, joining his hands in reverence, and spoke these gentle words to the joyful Angada.
Gentle one, you should not be angry that these guards tried to restrain you; it was out of ignorance and wrath that they opposed you.
You have come a long way, weary—eat your own honey; you are the crown prince and lord of this forest, mighty one.
Anger was shown before out of foolishness; you ought to forgive that, just as your father, lord of the monkey hosts, did in the past.
So too, Sugrīva, not another, is your uncle, best of monkeys; I have gone and reported everything to your uncle, O faultless one.
Hearing of your arrival, all these forest-dwellers have come here together with the other wanderers of the woods.
Your uncle Sugrīva, lord of the monkeys, was delighted, not angry, when he heard the forest had been disturbed.
The king, having heard these gentle words of Dadhimukha, said, 'Quickly send for all of them.'
Then Angada, the wise in speech and best of monkeys, spoke to them: 'I suspect this news has reached Rāma, leaders of the monkey troops.'
And this one announces it with joy; by that reason I know. Therefore, it is not fitting for us to stay here now that the task is accomplished, O subduers of foes.
Having drunk honey as they wished, the mighty forest-dwellers—what remains but to go there, where Sugrīva, the monkey, is?
As all the foremost monkeys gather and tell me, so I shall act in what must be done; I am dependent on you.
Though I am the crown prince, I am not able to command; it is not proper for you, who have accomplished your task, to be forcibly reproached.
Hearing these excellent words spoken by Angada, the forest-dwellers, their hearts gladdened, spoke these words.
Who, O king, being a true lord and bull among monkeys, would speak thus? For, intoxicated by the pride of power, everyone thinks, 'I alone am everything.'
This speech is truly fitting for you, and for no one else; your humility reveals your worthiness for future good fortune.
