Everything that I have described must be searched; and if there is anything else not mentioned, let your minds attend to that as well.
Then, a great favor will be done for Rāma, son of Daśaratha, and also for me; the deed of seeing the daughter of Videha, accomplished by one equal to wind and fire, will be done.
Then, having achieved your purpose, together with your companions, honored by me with all delightful virtues, you monkeys, with your beloveds, will roam the earth, your enemies subdued.

Listen to the forty-fourth sarga in the glorious Vālmīki Rāmāyaṇa, Kiṣkindhā Kāṇḍa.
Sugrīva spoke especially to Hanumān, for he was certain of success in accomplishing the task with that best of monkeys.
Sugrīva, the greatly pleased lord of all forest-dwellers, addressed Hanumān, the heroic son of the wind, saying:
O best of monkeys, I see no obstacle to your movement on earth, in the sky, in the air, in the abode of immortals, or in the waters.
All the worlds, with their oceans and mountains, along with the asuras, gandharvas, nāgas, humans, and gods, are known to you.
Your speed, swiftness, brilliance, and lightness, O great monkey, are equal to your father, the mighty Wind.
There is nothing on earth equal to your brilliance; therefore, consider well how Sītā may be found.
In you alone, Hanumān, reside strength, intelligence, valor, adaptability to place and time, and policy, O wise one.
Then, understanding Hanumān's readiness for the task, and knowing Hanumān, Rāma began to reflect.
In every way, the lord of the monkeys is certain of success with Hanumān; and Hanumān is even more determined in accomplishing the task.
Thus, for one who has set out, is recognized by his deeds, and is favored by his master, the attainment of the goal is assured.
Seeing that monkey of great energy, resolute in purpose, Rāma rejoiced as if his aim were already accomplished, his senses and mind delighted.
Then, pleased, Rāma gave him a ring adorned with his name as a token of recognition for the princess.
With this token, O best of monkeys, the daughter of Janaka will see you as having come from me, and she will not be anxious.
O hero, your resolve, your courage endowed with strength, and the command of Sugrīva—these all seem to assure me of success.
Then, taking it, the foremost of monkeys, with hands joined upon his head, after bowing to the feet, set forth—the bull among the vanaras.
That heroic son of the wind, drawing forth the great strength of the monkeys, became like the moon in the clear sky after the clouds have departed, adorned by the host of stars.
Relying on your extraordinary strength, O best of monkeys, with your unmatched valor, O son of the wind, do as Hanuman must, so that Janaka’s daughter may be found.

Listen to the forty-fifth sarga. Thus ends the forty-fifth sarga in the glorious Vālmīki Rāmāyaṇa, Kiṣkindhā Kāṇḍa.
Sugrīva, the foremost of monkeys, summoned all the vanaras and spoke to them, the king, for the accomplishment of Rāma’s purpose.
Thus must this be searched out by you, the best of vanaras, understanding the stern command of your lord, O leaders of the monkeys.
Like locusts covering the earth, they set out, while Rāma remained at Prasravaṇa with Lakṣmaṇa.
Waiting for that month appointed for the search for Sītā, he stayed there, while the delightful northern direction, encircled by great mountains, was set out for.
Then the heroic monkey Śatabali quickly set out for the north, while Vinata, leader of the monkeys, went to the east.
The son of the wind, Hanuman, together with Tāra, Aṅgada, and others, went to the southern quarter, the region traversed by Agastya.
Suṣeṇa, lord of the monkeys, went to the dreadful western direction, the region protected by Varuṇa, like a tiger among monkeys.
Then, having dispatched all directions properly, the heroic commander of the monkey army, the king, rejoiced happily.
