महाचलनिभैर्घोरैः पनसो नाम यूथपः। आजगाम महावीर्यस्तिसृभिः कोटिभिर्वृतः
The powerful leader Panasa, resembling a great mountain, arrived, surrounded by three million monkeys.
नीलाञ्जनचयाकारो नीलो नामैष यूथपः। अदृश्यत महाकायः कोटिभिर्दशभिर्वृतः
This leader named Nila, with the appearance of a mass of dark collyrium, of great size, was seen surrounded by ten million monkeys.
ततः काञ्चनशैलाभो गवयो नाम यूथपः। आजगाम महावीर्यः कोटिभिः पञ्चभिर्वृतः
Then the mighty leader Gavaya, shining like a golden mountain, arrived, surrounded by five million monkeys.

Then Dadhimukha, illustrious, arrived surrounded by ten crore monkeys, roaring before the great-souled Sugrīva.
शरभः कुमुदो वह्निर्वानरो रंह एव च। एते चान्ये च बहवो वानराः कामरूपिणः
Śarabha, Kumuda, Vahni, and the swift monkey Raṃha, along with many other monkeys capable of assuming any form, were also present.
आगताश्च निविष्टाश्च पृथिव्यां सर्ववानराः। आप्लवन्तः प्लवन्तश्च गर्जन्तश्च प्लवंगमाः। अभ्यवर्तन्त सुग्रीवं सूर्यमभ्रगणा इव
All the monkeys, having arrived and settled on the earth, leaping, springing, and roaring, gathered around Sugrīva like clouds around the sun.
कुर्वाणा बहुशब्दांश्च प्रकृष्टा बाहुशालिनः। शिरोभिर्वानरेन्द्राय सुग्रीवाय न्यवेदयन्
Making great sounds, those mighty-armed leaders of monkeys bowed their heads to Sugrīva, the king of monkeys.

Other foremost monkeys, having assembled as appropriate, stood before Sugrīva with joined palms.

Then Sugrīva, swift, reported all those foremost monkeys to Rāma, and, knowing righteousness, stood with joined palms and spoke.
यथासुखं पर्वतनिर्झरेषु वनेषु सर्वेषु च वानरेन्द्राः। निवेशयित्वा विधिवद् बलानि बलं बलज्ञः प्रतिपत्तुमीष्टे

O Rama, these monkey hosts—dwelling on earth, in water, and in the sky, from many mountain abodes—have arrived in countless multitudes as your servants.
निदेशवर्तिनः सर्वे सर्वे गुरुहिते स्थिताः। अभिप्रेतमनुष्ठातुं तव शक्ष्यन्त्यरिंदम
All of them are obedient to command, devoted to their leader’s will, and, O subduer of foes, will be able to accomplish whatever you desire.
