He also, bowing down, gave him the precious Syamantaka jewel.
And Acyuta, though the jewel was not to be accepted from one so deeply submissive, took it for the sake of clearing himself.
Together with Jāmbavatī, he went to Dvārakā.
At the sight of Kṛṣṇa, the people of Dvārakā, overwhelmed with joy at the Lord's arrival, instantly appeared as if in fresh youth, though they were of advanced age.
All the Yādavas and the women honored him, saying, 'By fortune, by fortune!'
And the Blessed Lord recounted in the Yādava assembly all that had happened, just as he had experienced it.
He returned the Syamantaka jewel to Satrājit and was cleared of the false accusation.
He settled Jāmbavatī in the inner quarters.
And Satrājit, frightened because he had falsely accused him, gave his daughter Satyabhāmā to the Blessed Lord as a wife.
But before that, Akrūra, Kṛtavarman, Śatadhanvan, and the other Yādavas had sought her hand.
Then, feeling slighted by Satrājit's giving her away, they formed a grudge against him.
Akrūra, Kṛtavarman, and others said to Śatadhanvan:
This Satrājit is truly wicked—though we and you asked for his daughter, he disregarded us and you, and gave her to Kṛṣṇa.
Enough of letting him live! Kill him and take that great jewel, the Syamantaka. Why do you not claim it? We will support you. If Acyuta bears a grudge against you for this, we will stand by you. Thus addressed, he replied, 'So be it.'
Although he knew the true nature of the Pandavas who had been burned in the house of lac, the blessed one went to Varanavata either to weaken Duryodhana's efforts or to act in favor of the Pandavas.
When he had gone there and was asleep, Shatadhanva killed Satrajita and took the jewel.
Filled with anger at her father's murder, Satyabhama quickly mounted her chariot, went to Varanavata, and told the blessed one: 'I have been wronged; our father was slain by the merciless Shatadhanva, and the Syamantaka jewel was stolen, whose radiance will dispel darkness from the three worlds.'
She said to Krishna: 'This is your responsibility; consider what is appropriate and let it be done.'
Thus addressed, Krishna, whose heart was pleased, spoke to Satyabhama, whose eyes were red with anger.
In truth, this is my responsibility; I will not tolerate such insult from that wicked man.
Birds dwelling in nests built by others do not violate the tree they rest upon; therefore, let us not act rashly before all, with words spoken in haste.' Having said this, Vasudeva went to Dwaraka and spoke privately to Baladeva.
While hunting, Prasena was killed in the forest by a lion.
Now Satrajita has been slain by Shatadhanva.
Since both are dead, the jewel will belong to us both equally.
Therefore, rise and mount the chariot; let us undertake the pursuit of Shatadhanva's death.' Thus addressed, he agreed and began the search.
When both had made preparations, Shatadhanva approached Kritavarma and urged him to assist in the task of filling the heels.
Kritavarma spoke to him.
He said, 'I am not capable of opposing Baladeva and Vasudeva.' Then he urged Akrura.

No one is able to fight against the blessed one, whose three worlds tremble at the strike of his foot, who causes widows among the wives of the gods' enemies, whose mighty discus repels the circle of powerful foes, whose gaze delights the eyes of the proud, whose sword destroys great enemies, and who, together with Satyabhama, is revered by all the worlds, even by the foremost immortals.
If you desire another refuge, let it be sought.' Thus addressed, Shatadhanva replied.
