दमस्य पुत्रो राजवर्धनो जज्ञे
Dama's son was born as Rājavardhana.
राजवर्द्धनात्सुवृद्धिः
From Rājavardhana came Suvṛddhi.
सुवृद्धेः केवलः
From Suvṛddhi was born Kevala.
केवलात्सुधृतिरभूत्
From Kevala, Sudhriti was born.
तस्माच्चंद्र ः!
From him, Candra!
ततः केवलोभूत्
Then, Kevala was born.
केवलाद्बंधुमान्
From Kevala, Bandhumat was born.
बंधुमतो वेगवान्
From Bandhumat, Vegavat was born.
वेगवतो बुधः
From Vegavat, Budha was born.
ततश्च तृणबिंदुः
Then, Trinabindu was born.
तस्याप्येका कन्या इलविलानाम
He had a single daughter named Ilavila.
ततश्चालंबुसानाम वराप्सरास्तृणबिंदुं भेजे
Then, the distinguished Apsaras named Alambusa united with Trinabindu.
तस्यामप्यस्य विशालो जज्ञे यः पुरीं विशालं निर्ममे
From her, Vishala was born, who built the city of Vishala.
हेमचंद्रश्च विशालस्य पुत्रोभवत्
Hemachandra was the son of Vishala.
ततश्चंद्रः
Then, Chandra.
तत्तनयो धूम्राक्षः
His son was Dhumraksha.
तस्यापि सृंजयोऽभूत्
His son was Srnjaya.
सृंजयात्सहदेवः
From Srnjaya, Sahadeva was born.
ततश्च कृशाश्वो नाम पुत्रोभवत्
Then, a son named Krishashva was born.
सोमदत्तः कृशाश्वाज्जज्ञे योश्वमेधानां शतमाजहार
Somadatta was born from Krishashva, who performed a hundred Ashvamedha sacrifices.
तत्पुत्रो जनमेजयः
His son was Janamejaya.
जनमेजयात्सुमतिः
From Janamejaya was born Sumati.
एते वैशालिका भूभृतः
These are the kings of Vaiśālī.

By the favor of Tṛṇabindu, all the kings of Vaiśālī were long-lived, great-souled, powerful, and exceedingly righteous.
शर्यातेः कन्या सुकन्यानामाभवत् यामुपयेमे च्यवनः
Śaryāti had a daughter named Sukanyā, whom Cyavana married.
आनर्त्तनामा परमधार्मिकश्शर्यातिपुत्रोभवत्
Ānarta, supremely righteous, was born as the son of Śaryāti.
आनर्त्तृस्यापि रेवतनामा पुत्रो जज्ञे योसावानर्त्तविषयं बुभुजे पुरीं च कुशस्थलीमध्युवास
Ānarta too had a son named Revata, who ruled the land of Ānarta and resided in the city of Kuśasthalī.
रेवतस्यापि रैवतः पुत्रः ककुद्मिनामा धर्मात्मा भ्रोतृशतस्य ज्योष्ठोऽभवत्
Revata had a son named Raivata, also called Kakudmin, who was the eldest among a hundred brothers and righteous in soul.
