वरगन्धमाल्यवस्त्राय वरातिवरये नमः । नमो वर्षाय वाताय छायायै आतपाय च ।। ३०.
To the One adorned with excellent fragrance, garlands, and garments, and to the supremely excellent, salutations; obeisance to the rain, to the wind, to shade, and to heat.
नमो रक्तविरक्ताय शोभनायाक्षमालिने। सम्भिन्नाय विभान्नाय विविक्तविकटाय च ।। ३०.
Salutations to the One who is both passionate and detached, who is splendid and wears a garland of dice; to the One who is broken, who breaks, and who is distinct and formidable.
अघोररूपरूपाय घोरघोरतराय च । नमः शिवाय शान्ताय नमः शान्ततराय च ।। ३०.
To the One whose forms are both terrifying and not terrifying, and who is most terrible; salutations to Shiva, to the peaceful One, and to the most tranquil.
एकपाद्बहुनेत्राय एकशीर्षन्नमोऽस्तु ते। नमो वृद्धाय लुब्धाय संविभागप्रियाय च ।। ३०.
To the One with one foot and many eyes, to the One with a single head, salutations to You; to the aged, the greedy, and the lover of sharing, obeisance.
पञ्चमालार्चिताङ्गाय नमः पाशुपताय च। नमश्चण्डाय घण्टाय घण्टया जग्धरन्ध्रिणे ।। ३०.
To the One whose limbs are worshipped with five garlands, salutations to the Lord of beasts; obeisance to the fierce One, to the bell, and to the One who fills the world with the sound of the bell.
सहसशतघण्टाय घण्टामालाप्रियाय च। प्राणदण्डाय त्यागाय नमो हिलिहिलाय च ।। ३०.
To the One with hundreds and thousands of bells, who delights in garlands of bells; to the staff of life, to renunciation, and to the One who utters 'hili hili', salutations.
हूंहूङ्काराय पाराय हूंहूङ्कारप्रियाय च। नमश्च शम्भवे नित्यं गिरि वृक्षकलाय च ।। ३०.
To the One who utters 'hum hum', who is the supreme, and who delights in the sound 'hum hum'; salutations always to Shambhu, to the One who is the art of mountains and trees.
गर्भमांसश्रृगालाय तारकाय तराय च । नमो यज्ञाधिपतये द्रुतायोपद्रुताय च ।। ३०.
To the One who is the womb, flesh, and jackal, to the star and the swift; salutations to the Lord of sacrifice, to the quick and the exceedingly swift.
यज्ञवाहाय दानाय तप्याय तपनाय च। नमस्तटाय भव्याय तडितां पतये नमः ।। ३०.
To the bearer of sacrifice, to the giver, to the one who heats and who burns; salutations to the bank, to the auspicious, and to the lord of lightning.
अन्नदायान्नपतये नमोऽस्त्वन्नभवाय च। नमः सहस्रशीर्ष्णे च सहस्रचरणाय च ।। ३०.
To the giver of food, to the lord of food, and to the source of food, salutations; obeisance to the thousand-headed and the thousand-footed One.
सहस्रोद्यतशूलाय सहस्रनयनाय च। नमोऽस्तु बालरूपाय बालरूपधराय च ।। ३०.
Homage to the one who wields a thousand-raised spears, and to the one with a thousand eyes; homage to the one in the form of a child, and to the one who assumes the form of a child.
बालानाञ्चैव गोप्त्रे च बालक्रीडनकाय च। नमः शुद्धाय बुद्धाय क्षोभणायाक्षताय च ।। ३०.
Homage to the protector of children, and to the one who delights in children's play; homage to the pure, the wise, the agitator, and the uninjured.
तरङ्गाङ्कितकेशाय मुक्तकेशाय वै नमः। नमः षट्कर्मनिष्ठाय त्रिकर्मनिरताय च ।। ३०.
Homage to the one whose hair is marked with waves, and to the one with loose hair; homage to the one devoted to the six rites, and to the one engaged in the three rites.
वर्णाश्रमाणां विधिवत् पृथक्कर्मप्रवर्तिने। मनो घोषाय घोष्याय नमः कलकलाय च ।। ३०.
Homage to the one who, according to rule, sets the distinct duties of the classes and stages of life; homage to the one whose mind is a sound, to the one who is to be proclaimed, and to the one who is a clamor.
श्वेतपिङ्गलनेत्राय कृष्णरक्तक्षणाय च । धर्मार्थ काममोक्षाय क्रथाय कथनाय च ।। ३०.
Homage to the one with white and tawny eyes, and to the one with black and red moments; to Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha, to the one who is a cry and a narration.
साङ्ख्याय साङ्ख्यमुख्याय योगाधिपतये नमः। नमोरथ्यविरथ्याय चतुष्पथरताय च ।। ३०.
Homage to Sankhya, to the foremost among Sankhyas, and to the lord of Yoga; homage to the one who is both charioted and uncharioted, and to the one who delights in crossroads.
कृष्णा जिनोत्तरीयाय व्यालयज्ञोपवीतिने। ईशानवज्रसंहाय हरिकेश नमोऽस्तु ते। अविवेकैकनाथाय व्यक्ताव्यक्त नमोऽस्तु ते ।। ३०.
Homage to the one clad in black antelope skin, and to the one wearing a serpent as sacred thread; homage to the lord of the thunderbolt, to Harikesha; homage to the sole refuge of the undiscriminating, to the manifest and unmanifest.
काम कामद कामध्न धृष्टोदृप्तनिषूदन। सर्व सर्वद सर्वज्ञ सन्ध्याराग नमोऽस्तु ते ।। ३०.
Homage to Kama, the giver of desires, the destroyer of desires, the bold and arrogant subduer; to the all, the giver of all, the all-knowing, and to the twilight hue.
महाबाल महाबाहो महासत्त्व महाद्युते। महामेघवरप्रेक्ष महाकाल नमोऽस्तु ते ।। ३०.
Homage to the mighty, the strong-armed, the greatly steadfast, the greatly radiant; to the one whose gaze is like a great cloud, and to the great time.
स्थूलजीर्णणाङ्गजटिने वल्कलाजिनधारिणे। दीप्तशूर्याग्निजटिने वल्कलाजिनवाससे। सहस्रसूर्यप्रतिम तपोनित्य नमोऽस्तु ते ।। ३०.
Homage to the one with coarse, aged limbs and matted hair, wearing bark and antelope skin; to the one whose matted hair is blazing like the sun and fire, clad in bark and antelope skin; to the one resembling a thousand suns, ever devoted to austerity.
उन्मादनशतावर्त्त गङ्गातोयार्द्धमूर्द्धज। चन्द्रावर्त्त युगावर्त्त मेघावर्त्त नमोऽस्तु ते ।। ३०.
Homage to the one who whirls a hundred madnesses, whose head is half bathed in Ganga water; to the one who whirls the moon, the ages, and the clouds.
त्वमन्नमन्नकर्त्ता च अन्नदश्च त्वमेव हि। अन्नस्रष्टा च पक्ता च पक्वभुक्तपचे नमः ।। ३०.
You are food, the maker of food, and indeed the giver of food; you are the creator of food, the cook, and homage to you who cooks, eats, and digests.
जरायुजोऽण्डजश्चैव स्वेदजोद्भिज्ज एव च। त्वमेव देवदेवशो भूतग्रामश्चतुर्विधः ।। ३०.२२६ . चराचरस्य ब्रह्मा त्वं प्रतिहर्त्ता त्वमेव च। त्वमेव ब्रह्मविदुषामपि ब्रह्मविदां वरः ।। ३०.
You are the lord of gods, the fourfold host of beings—born from womb, egg, sweat, and sprout; you are the creator and destroyer of moving and unmoving things; you are indeed the best among those who know Brahman, even among the knowers of Brahman.
सत्त्वस्य परमा योनिरब्वायुज्योतिषां निधिः। ऋक्सामनि तथोङ्कारमाहुस्त्वां ब्रह्मवादिनः ।। ३०.
You are the supreme source of existence, the treasure of windless lights; the Brahman-knowers declare you to be the Rik, Sama, and Om.
हविर्हावी हवो हावी हुवां वाचाहुतिः सदा। गायन्ति त्वां सुरश्रेष्ठ सामगा ब्रह्मवादिनः ।। ३०.
You are the oblation, the offerer, the offering, the one who receives offerings, and the speech-offering always; the best of gods, the singers of Sama, and the Brahman-knowers sing of you.
यजुर्मयो ऋङ्मयस्व सामाथर्वमयस्तथा। पठ्यसे ब्रह्मविद्भिस्त्वं कल्पोपनिषदां गणैः ।। ३०.
You are composed of Yajur, Rik, Sama, and Atharva; you are recited by the knowers of Brahman, by the groups of Kalpa and Upanishads.
ब्राह्मणाः क्षत्रिया वैश्याः शूद्रा वर्णावराश्च ये। त्वामेव मेघसङ्घाश्च विश्वस्त नितगर्ज्जितम् ।। ३०.
Brahmanas, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, Shudras, and those of lower castes; you are indeed the clouds, and the thunderous roar of the universe.
संवत्सरस्त्वमृतवो मासा मासार्द्धमेव च। कला काष्ठा निमेषाश्च नक्षत्राणि युगा ग्रहाः ।। ३०.
You are the year, the seasons, the months, and the half-months; the divisions of time, the moments, the instants, the stars, the ages, and the planets.
वृषाणां ककुदं त्वं हिगिरीणां शिखराणि च। सिंहो मृगाणां पततां तार्क्ष्योऽनन्तश्च भोगिनाम् ।। ३०.
You are the hump among bulls, the peaks among mountains; the lion among beasts, Garuda among those who fly, and Ananta among serpents.
क्षीरोदो ह्युदधीनाञ्च यन्त्राणां धनुरेव च। वज्रम्प्रहरणानाञ्च व्रतानां सत्यमेव च ।। ३०.
You are the ocean among waters, the bow among instruments; the thunderbolt among weapons, and truth among vows.
