अजेयत्वं धनेशत्वमवध्यत्वं च वै ददौ। एतान् लब्ध्वा वरान् काव्यः सम्प्रहृष्टतनूरुहः ।। ३५.
He granted invincibility, lordship over wealth, and immunity from harm; receiving these boons, Kāvyas was filled with joy.
हर्षात् प्रादुर्बभौ तस्य देवस्तोत्रं महेश्वरम्। तदा तिर्यक्स्थितस्त्वेवं तुष्टुवे नीललोहितम् ।। ३५.
Out of delight, a divine hymn to Maheśvara arose within him; then, standing obliquely, he praised the blue-red one.
नमोऽस्तु शितिकण्ठाय सुरापाय सुवर्चसे। रिरिहाणाय लोपाय वत्सराय जगत्पते ।। ३५.
Salutations to Śitikaṇṭha, the drinker of wine, radiant in splendor; to the one who delights in destruction, who causes disappearance, who is the year, O Lord of the world.
कपर्दिने ह्यूर्द्ध्वरोम्णे हयाय करणाय च। संस्कृताय सुतीर्थाय देवदेवाय रंहसे ।। ३५.
To the matted-haired one, with hair standing upright, to the horse, to the cause; to the refined, to the excellent pilgrimage, to the god of gods, to the swift.
उष्णीषिणे सुवक्राय सहस्राक्षाय मीढुषे। वसुरेताय रुद्राय तपसे चीरवाससे ।। ३५.
To the crowned one, to the well-formed, to the thousand-eyed, to the generous; to the one whose seed is wealth, to Rudra, to the ascetic, to the one clad in bark.
ह्रस्वाय मुक्तकेशाय सेनान्ये रोहिताय च ।। ३५.
To the short one, to the loose-haired, to the commander, and to the red one.
कवये राजवृद्धाय तक्षकक्रीडनाय च। गिरिशायार्कनेत्राय यतिने जाम्बवाय च। सुवृत्ताय सुहस्ताय धन्विने भार्गवाय च ।। ३५.
To the poet, to the aged king, to the one who plays with Takṣaka; to the lord of mountains, to the one with the eye of the sun, to the ascetic, to Jāmbava; to the well-shaped, to the good-handed, to the archer, to Bhārgava.
सहस्रबाहवे चैव सहस्रामलचक्षुषे। सहस्रकुक्षये चैव सहस्रचरणाय च ।। ३५.
To the thousand-armed, to the one with a thousand spotless eyes; to the one with a thousand bellies, to the one with a thousand feet.
सहस्रशिरसे चैव बहुरूपाय वेधसे। भवाय विश्वरूपाय श्वेताय पुरुषाय च ।। ३५.
To the thousand-headed, to the one of many forms, to the creator; to Bhava, to the universal form, to the white one, to the person.
निषङ्गिणे कवचिने सूक्ष्माय क्षपणाय च। ताम्राय चैव भीमाय उग्राय च शिवाय च ।। ३५.
To the sword-bearer, to the armored, to the subtle, to the destroyer; to the copper-colored, to the formidable, to the fierce, and to the auspicious.
बभ्रवे च पिशङ्गाय पिङ्गलायारुणाय च। महादेवाय शर्व्वाय विश्वरूपशिवाय च ।। ३५.
To the tawny, to the spotted, to the reddish-brown, to the ruddy; to the great god, to Śarva, to the universally-formed, auspicious one.
हिरण्याय च शिष्टाय श्रेष्ठाय मध्यमाय च । पिनाकिने चेषुमते चित्राय रोहिताय च ।। ३५.
To the golden, to the excellent, to the best, to the middle; to the wielder of Pināka, to the swift, to the brilliant, to the red one.
दुन्दुभ्यायैकपादाय अर्हाय बुद्धये तथा। मृगव्याधाय सर्पाय स्थाणवे भीषणाय च ।। ३५.
To the drum, to the one-footed, to the worthy, to wisdom; to the deer-hunter, to the serpent, to the steadfast, to the terrifying.
बहुरूपाय चोग्राय त्रिनेत्रायेश्वराय च। कपिलायैकवीराय मृत्यवे त्र्यम्बकाय च ।। ३५.
To the one of many forms, to the fierce, to the three-eyed lord; to the tawny, to the sole hero, to death, to Tryambaka.
वास्तोष्पते विनाकाय शङ्कराय शिवाय च। आरण्याय गुहस्थाय यतिने ब्रह्मचारिणे ।। ३५.
To the lord of dwellings, to the one without strings, to Śaṅkara, to the auspicious; to the forest-dweller, to the cave-dweller, to the ascetic, to the celibate.
साङ्ख्याय चैव योगाय ध्यानिने दीक्षिताय च। अन्तर्हिताय शर्व्वाय मान्याय मालिने तथा ।। ३५.
To Sāṅkhya, to Yoga, to the meditator, to the initiated; to the hidden, to Śarva, to the honored, to the garlanded.
बुद्धाय चैव पुण्याय धार्मिकाय शुभाय च। रोधसे चेकितानाय ब्रह्मिष्ठाय महर्षये ।। ३५.
To the wise, to the virtuous, to the righteous, to the auspicious; to the restrainer, to the clever, to the Brahmin-like, to the great sage.
चतुष्पादाय मेध्याय धर्मिणे शीघ्रगाय च। शिखण्डिने कपालाय दंष्ट्रिणे विश्वमेधसे ।। ३५.
To the four-footed, to the pure, to the righteous, to the swift; to the crested, to the skull-bearer, to the fanged, to the universal sacrificer.
अप्रतीघाताय दीप्ताय भास्कराय सुमेधसे। क्रूराय विकृतायैव बीभत्साय शिवाय च ।। ३५.
To the irresistible, to the brilliant, to the radiant, to the wise; to the cruel, to the deformed, to the dreadful, to the auspicious.
सौम्याय चैव पुण्याय धार्मिकाय शुभाय च। अवध्याय मृताङ्गाय नित्याय शाश्वताय च ।। ३५.
To the gentle, to the virtuous, to the righteous, to the auspicious; to the invincible, to the dead-bodied, to the eternal, to the everlasting.
साद्याय शरभायैव शूलिने च त्रिचक्षुषे। सोमपायाज्यपायैव धूमपायोष्मपाय च ।। ३५.
To the swift one, to Sharabha, to the three-eyed bearer of the trident; to the drinker of Soma, to the drinker of clarified butter, to the drinker of smoke, and to the drinker of heat.
शुचये रेरिहाणाय सद्योजाताय मृत्यवे। पिशिताशाय खर्वाय मेधाय वैद्युताय च ।। ३५.
To the pure one, to the flaming one, to the one born instantly, to Death; to the eater of flesh, to the dwarf, to the wise, and to the lightning-formed.
व्याश्रिताय श्रविष्टाय भारतायान्तरिक्षये। क्षमाय सह मानाय सत्याय तपनाय च ।। ३५.
To the one who is resorted to, to the most renowned, to the descendant of Bharata, to the one who pervades the midspace; to patience, to strength, to honor, to truth, and to the burning one.
त्रिपुरघ्नाय दीप्ताय चक्राय रोमशाय च। तिग्मायुधाय मेध्याय सिद्धाय च पुलस्तये ।। ३५.
To the destroyer of Tripura, to the shining one, to the one with the discus, to the hairy one; to the one with sharp weapons, to the pure, to the accomplished, and to Pulastya.
रोचमानाय खण्डाय स्फीताय ऋषभाय च। भोगिने पुञ्जमानाय शान्तायैवोर्द्ध्वरेतसे ।। ३५.
To the radiant one, to the fragmentary, to the abundant, to the bull; to the serpent, to the gatherer, to the peaceful, and to the one with upward-flowing seed.
अघघ्नाय मख्घ्नाय मृत्यवे यज्ञियाय च। कृशानवे प्रचेताय वह्नये किशलाय च ।। ३५.
To the destroyer of sin, to the destroyer of sacrifice, to Death, to the worthy of sacrifice; to the blazing one, to the wise, to the fire, and to the tender shoot.
सिकत्याय प्रसन्नाय वरेण्यायैव चक्षुषे। क्षिप्रेगवे सुधन्वाय प्रमेध्याय प्रियाय च ।। ३५.
To the sandy one, to the clear, to the most excellent, to the one with vision; to the swift bull, to the one with a good bow, to the most pure, and to the beloved.
रक्षोघ्नाय पशुघ्नाय विघ्नाय शयनाय च। विभ्रान्ताय महन्ताय अन्तये दुर्गमाय च ।। ३५.
To the destroyer of demons, to the destroyer of cattle, to the obstacle, to the one who lies down; to the wandering one, to the great, to the end, and to the difficult to reach.
दक्षाय च जघन्याय लोकानामीश्वराय च। अनामयाय चोर्द्ध्वाय संहत्याधिष्ठिताय च ।। ३५.
To the skillful, to the lowest, to the lord of the worlds; to the free from disease, to the upright, to the one established in union.
हिरण्यबाहवे चैव सत्याय शमनाय च। असिकल्याय माघाय रीरिण्यायैकचक्षुषे ।। ३५.
To the golden-armed, to the truthful, to the pacifier; to the dark-skinned, to the one born in the month of Magha, to the destroyer, to the one-eyed.
