कृष्णक्रीडासेतुबन्धं महापातकनाशनम्

There is the Kṛṣṇa’s Play Bridge, destroyer of great sins.

गोपकैः सहितस्तत्र क्षणमेकं दिनेदिने

There, together with the cowherds, he would remain for a moment each day.

बलिह्रदं च तत्रैव जलक्रीडाकृतं शुभम्

And there is also the Bali-pond, auspicious, made for water-sport.

ततः परं च कृष्णेन कुक्कुटैः क्रीडनं कृतम्

After that, Kṛṣṇa played there with roosters.

स्तम्भोच्चयं सुशिखरं सौरभैः सुसुगन्धिभिः

There is a lofty pillar with a beautiful summit, fragrant with delightful scents.

तस्य प्रदक्षिणं कृत्वा परिपूज्य प्रयत्नतः

Having circumambulated it and worshipped it with care,

वसुदेवेन देवक्या गर्भस्य रक्षणाय च

By Vasudeva and Devakī, for the protection of the embryo,

ततो नारायणस्थानं प्रविशेन्मुक्तिहेतवे

Then one should enter the abode of Nārāyaṇa for the sake of liberation.

दृष्ट्वा ततः सुविज्ञाप्य गणं विधिविनायकम् 160.

Having seen, then properly informing the group and the Lord of rites,

अनुज्ञाय ततः स्थानं द्रष्टुं गर्त्तेश्वरं शिवम्

With permission, then, one should go to see Śiva, Lord of the Pit.

महाविद्येश्वरी देवी आरक्षं पापकं हरेत्

The goddess Mahāvidyeśvarī there removes the evil of obstacles.

प्रभा मल्ली च तत्रैव दृष्ट्वा कामानवाप्नुयात्

There, seeing Prabhā and Mallī, one attains desired wishes.

नित्यं सन्निहिता तत्र सिद्धिदा पापनाशिनी

Ever present there, she grants success and destroys sin.

सङ्केतकं कृतं तत्र मन्त्रनिश्चयकारकम्

There, a sign has been established, which determines the certainty of mantras.

सिद्धिप्रदा भोगदा च तेन सिद्धेश्वरी स्मृता

Because she grants success and enjoyment, she is called Siddheśvarī.

तत्र कुण्डं स्वच्छजलं महापातकनाशनम्

There is a pool with clear water, destroyer of great sins.

यस्य दर्शनमात्रेण सर्वपापैः प्रमुच्यते

By merely seeing it, one is freed from all sins.

विघ्नराजं ततो गच्छेद्गणेशं विघ्ननायकम्

Then one should approach Vighnarāja, Gaṇeśa, the remover of obstacles.

गंगा साध्वी च तत्रैव महापातकनाशिनी 160.

There too is the virtuous Gaṅgā, destroyer of great sins.

महादेवमुखाकारं नाम्ना रुद्रमहालयम्

There is the great abode of Rudra, whose form is like the face of Mahādeva.

तस्मादुत्तरकोटिं च दृष्ट्वा देवं गणेश्वरम्

From there, seeing the northern quarter, one beholds the god Gaṇeśvara.

नानापहासरूपेण जिता गोप्यो धनानि च

By assuming various forms of jest, the cowherd women and their wealth were overcome.

गोपालकृष्णगमनं महापातकनाशनम्

The going of Gopāla Kṛṣṇa there destroys great sins.

कृतं तत्र यथारूपं यद्रूपं च यथा तथा

Whatever was done there, in whatever form and manner, just so.

ततो गच्छेन्महातीर्थं विमलं यमुनाम्भसि

After that, one should go to the great, pure holy place in the waters of Yamunā.

गार्ग्यतीर्थे महापुण्ये नरस्तत्र तथा क्रमेत्

At the highly meritorious Gargya Tīrtha, a person should likewise proceed.

स्नात्वा सोमेश्वरं देवं दृष्ट्वा यात्राफलं लभेत्

Having bathed and seen the god Someśvara there, one attains the fruit of pilgrimage.

सन्तर्प्य विधिवद्दत्त्वा विष्णुसायुज्यमाप्नुयात्

Having duly offered oblations and gifts, one attains union with Viṣṇu.

धारालोपनके तद्वद्वैकुण्ठे खण्डवेलके 160.

In the same way at Dhārālopanaka, and at Vaikuṇṭha Khaṇḍavelaka.
