मोदते सप्तद्वीपेषु गुह्यानि च स गच्छति
He rejoices in the seven continents and attains secret realms.
सर्वसंगं परित्यज्य मम लोकं स गच्छति
Renouncing all attachments, he reaches my world.
प्रभासे यत्र शृण्वन्ति सागरे न म (ग) रं प्रति
At Prabhāsa, where they listen, in the ocean, not towards the crocodile.
अथात्र प्रक्षिपेत्पिण्डान्प्रसन्ने सलिले नरः
Then, here, if a man offers balls of food into clear water—
असम्प्राप्ते च गृह्णन्ति एवमेतन्न संशयः
Even if not arrived, they receive them; thus it is, without doubt.
धर्मात्मनां च गृह्णन्ति पिण्डमेव न संशयः
The righteous indeed receive only the offering, without doubt.
अगाधस्याप्यपारस्य क्रोशविस्तार एव च
Even in deep and boundless waters, with a span's breadth—
मोदते शक्रलोके स एवमेतन्न संशयः
He delights in the realm of Indra; thus it is, without doubt.
शक्रलोकं परित्यज्य मम लोकं स गच्छति 149.
Leaving the realm of Indra, he attains my world.
न पश्येत्पापकर्मा वै शुभकर्मैव पश्यति
The evil-doer does not see; only the doer of good sees.
रौप्यं सुवर्णकं पद्मं दृश्यते नात्र संशयः
Silver, golden lotuses are seen here; there is no doubt.
चतुर्धाराः पतन्त्यत्र मणिपूरगिरिं श्रिताः
Four streams flow here, resting on the Maṇipūra mountain.
वैखानसेषु लोकेषु मोदते नाऽत्र संशयः
He delights in the Vaikhānasa worlds; there is no doubt.
त्यक्त्वा वैखानसाँल्लोकान्मम लोकं स गच्छति
Abandoning the Vaikhānasa worlds, he attains my world.
दृश्यन्ते यानि कुण्डेषु मणिपूरगिरौ तथा
Those things seen in the pools and likewise on Maṇipūra mountain—
स्नायमानेषु पापेषु न पतेत्तद्यथा पुरा
When sinners bathe, it does not fall as it did before.
धारा चैका पतत्यत्र मणिपूरगिरौ श्रिता
A single stream falls here, resting upon the Maṇipūra mountain.
मुक्तसंगो महाभागे मोदते वरुणालये
One freed from attachment, O greatly fortunate, delights in the abode of Varuṇa.
वारुणं लोकमुत्सृज्य मम लोके महीयते 149.
Having abandoned the realm of Varuṇa, he is honored in my world.
शुद्धाः पश्यन्ति मनुजाः पापकर्मा न पश्यति
The pure-hearted humans see it; those of sinful deeds do not see.
हंसाश्चैवात्र दृश्यन्ते चन्द्रकुन्दसमप्रभाः
And here are seen swans, radiant like moonlight and jasmine flowers.
लभन्ते ते परां सिद्धिं धरे नास्त्यत्र संशयः
They attain supreme perfection on earth; there is no doubt in this.
वृष्णयो यत्र वै शुद्धाः संप्राप्ताश्च ममालयम्
Where the pure-hearted Vṛṣṇis have indeed arrived at my abode.
मोदते ऋषिलोकेषु पुण्यात्मा वै न संशयः
The virtuous soul delights in the worlds of the sages; there is no doubt.
कदम्बात्पतते धारा तत्र पूर्वविनिःसृता
From the kadamba tree, a stream falls there, having emerged earlier.
पुष्पाणि वै प्रकटयत्युदयस्थे दिवाकरे
It reveals flowers when the sun rises in the east.
ते लभन्ते परां सिद्धिमेवमेतन्न संशयः
They attain supreme perfection thus; there is no doubt in this.
पंच धाराः पतन्त्यत्र मणिपूरसमाश्रिताः 149.
Five streams fall here, resting upon Maṇipūra.
दशवर्षसहस्राणि स्वर्गलोके स मोदते
He delights in the heavenly realm for ten thousand years.
सर्वान्स्वर्गान्समुत्सृज्य मम लोकं स गच्छति
Having abandoned all heavens, he goes to my world.
