That place called Kokāmukha, which I spoke of before,
is the place named Lohārgala, resorted to by the king of the mlecchas.
Behold, along with its sanctuaries, my abode—this entire world, both moving and unmoving.
But those who know me, O Goddess, and my secret, the path of my desire—
Then, having heard the words of the god, the Earth spoke these words:
The Earth said: How is that excellent Kokamukha? You ought to tell me that.
Śrī Varāha said: There is no place superior to Kokamukha, nor is there anything dearer than Kokamukha.
But whoever, having gone to Kokamukha, turns back again—
Of all the sacred places you have asked about, O Earth, there has never been, nor will there be, a place equal to Kokamukha.
That supreme form of mine, which they do not know, being concealed—
Śrī Varāha said: That delightful Kokamukha, which I am describing to you, O sinless one—
From the mountain known as Jalabindu, from the city upon the earth—
Abandoning all attachments, he attains my world.
Falling from the mountain to the earth, a stream like a pestle—
A man obtains the fruit of a thousand Agniṣṭoma sacrifices; he does not become confused in his duties and attains the highest reward.
He is born in a vast and pure place, following my path.
He beholds this supreme form of mine—of that there is no doubt.
No one knows this, O Earth, which is protected by Varāha.
He is born on the island of Kraunca, wholly devoted to my worship.
Abandoning all attachments, he goes to my world.
Where, O Earth, you were lifted by the blow of My tusk—
Whoever is wholly purified from all sin attains My world.
Where five stones are marked with the name of Viṣṇu—
On the island of Gomeda, My path is followed there.
Freed from all sin, with a pure heart, he beholds Me.
Here, four streams fall, descending from the heights of the mountain.
Reaching Kuśa Island, he abides in My worlds.
Even the gods do not know him—how much less men and others.
One devoted to My deeds is born on the island of Puṣkara.
Freed from all sin, he attains My world.
