तस्य चिह्नं प्रवक्ष्यामि तच्छृणुष्व शुचिस्मिते 126.
I will describe to you its sign; listen to this, O pure-smiled one.
रथचक्रप्रमाणो वै चरते तत्र कच्छपः
There moves a tortoise, the size of a chariot wheel.
स्नात्वा प्राप्नोति सुश्रोणि फलं तत्र महागुणम्
By bathing there, O lovely-hipped one, one obtains a great and excellent result.
प्राप्नोति वसुधे तत्र एवमेव न संशयः
There, O Earth, one attains this without any doubt.
दशानां पुण्डरीकाणां फलं प्राप्नोति मानवः
A man obtains the fruit of ten lotuses there.
सिद्धस्य लभते नित्यं मम लोकाय गच्छति
He always attains perfection and goes to my world.
अग्नितीर्थमिति ख्यातं सिद्धं कुब्जाम्रके स्थितम्
That sacred place is known as Agnitīrtha, established in Kubjāmra.
कौमुदस्य तु मासस्य मासो मार्गशिरस्य च
Of the month of Kaumudā and also the month of Mārgaśīrṣa,
यश्चैव माधवे मासि समये यदि वर्त्तते
And whoever is present in the month of Mādhava at the proper time,
तस्य चिह्नं प्रवक्ष्यामि शृणुष्व हि वसुन्धरे
I will describe to you its sign; listen, O Earth.
एकाग्रं तु मनः कृत्वा तच्छृणुश्व वसुन्धरे 126.
Focus your mind single-pointedly and listen to this, O Earth.
न हि कश्चिद्विजानाति शास्त्रं मम न यश्च वै
For truly, no one knows my scripture, nor does anyone else.
एकचित्तं समाधाय तच्छृणुष्व वसुन्धरे
With your mind gathered in one place, listen to this, O Earth.
अग्नितीर्थं महाभागे दीप्तमन्तं सवैष्णवम्
The Agni-tirtha, O noble one, is radiant and wholly Vaishnava.
प्राप्नोति तन्महाभागे स्नानमात्रान्न संशयः
By merely bathing there, O noble one, one attains its reward—of this there is no doubt.
स्थित्वा विंशत्यहोरात्रान्मम लोकाय गच्छति
After staying for twenty days and nights, one goes to my world.
येन विज्ञायते प्राज्ञैर्मम भक्तं सुखावहम्
By which the wise recognize my devotion, which brings happiness.
उष्णकाले भवेच्छीतमेवं चिह्नं तु तद्भवेत्
In the hot season, it becomes cool—this is the sign, indeed.
तरन्ति मानवा येन घोरं संसारसागरम्
By which people cross over the dreadful ocean of worldly existence.
वायव्यमितिविख्यातं तीर्थं धर्माद्विनिस्सृतम् । तस्मिंस्तीर्थे तु यः स्नातः कृतनित्योदकक्रियः
The tirtha known as Vayavya, born of Dharma—whoever bathes there and performs the daily water-rites,
वाजपेयस्य यज्ञस्य फलं प्राप्नोति निष्कलम् 126.
Attains the complete fruit of the Vajapeya sacrifice.
दिनानि दश पंचैतत्कृतमेव हि मामकम्
For ten or five days, this is indeed my established rule.
जायते च चतुर्बाहुर्मम लोके प्रतिष्ठितः
He is born with four arms and is established in my world.
येन चिह्नेन विज्ञेयं तीर्थं तच्च महत्तरम्
By which sign the tirtha is known—that is the greatest.
चतुर्विंशतिर्द्वादश्यां येन विज्ञायते खलु
On the twelfth day, by which it is recognized, indeed.
शक्रतीर्थमिति ख्यातं सर्वसंसारमोक्षणम्
It is known as Shakra-tirtha, the liberator from all worldly existence.
शक्रस्तु वसते लोके वज्रहस्तो न संशयः
Shakra dwells in that world, holding the thunderbolt—of this there is no doubt.
उपोष्य दशरात्राणि मम लोकाय गच्छति
After fasting for ten nights, one goes to my world.
एकचित्तं समाधाय शृणु सुन्दरि तत्त्वतः
Focus your mind in single-pointed concentration and listen, O beautiful one, to the truth.
शक्रतीर्थस्य चिह्नं ते वसुधे परिकीर्त्तितम्
The mark of Śakra's sacred place has been described to you, O Earth.
