In the divine realm, there exists my supreme field, within which lies a secret and sacred place known as Sarvāyudha. There, a seeker who has fasted for seven nights should bathe, and upon doing so, he departs from this world, his mind firmly established in my actions. Again, at this holy site, if a person bathes after fasting for eight nights, he leaves this life freed from greed and delusion, his heart purified. Another secret place within my supreme field is called Vidyādhara. Whoever bathes there, even after spending just a single night, will relinquish life unburdened by passion and fatigue. Within my most secret and exalted field flows a river known as Puṇyanadī. One should bathe there after remaining for eight nights, for at that spot, a person gives up life in accordance with my divine will. This sacred field of mine is also famed as Gandharva. There, after staying for four nights, one should bathe, and by doing so, departs from life wholly devoted to my actions. There is yet another place, Devahrada, my cherished field upon the earth. This lake is delightful, bestowing boons, cool and excellent, and in its blessed waters lies great sanctity. Within this sacred lake, I reveal to you, O Earth, a secret: the faithful are granted vision here, while the sinful remain blind to its wonders. At sunrise, golden lotuses can be seen blossoming upon its surface. Those who bathe in these waters ascend to heaven, cleansed of every impurity of speech and body. The merit gained equals the fruit of ten Aśvamedha sacrifices. After enjoying the rewards of such a horse sacrifice, one attains equality with me upon the earth. The confluence of the divine rivers here is beloved by all who seek happiness. It is a gathering place for Gandharvas, Apsarases, serpent maidens, and Nagas. Even Siddhas and Kinnaras descend from the heavens to these holy fords. Among these sacred waters is the revered Śvategaṅgā, which joins respectfully with other rivers: Gaṇḍakī, Kṛṣṇā, and that river born from the body of Kṛṣṇa. This mighty river is also known as Triśūlagaṅgā and is proclaimed throughout my domain as supremely holy and purifying. Near these waters is Siddhāśrama, renowned for increasing merit. It is adorned with groves of banana trees, blossoming with many kinds of flowers and fruits. There grow date palms, asoka, bakula, mango, and the beloved priyaala, along with oranges, jujubes, lemons, and citrons. Jasmine, kuravaka, nāga, kuṭaja, and pomegranate trees flourish there, filling the air with fragrance and beauty. In this supremely holy lake, at the confluence of sacred rivers, bathing during the month of Vaiśākha brings the merit of gifting a thousand cows. And whoever bathes there in the month of Kārttika, when the sun is in Libra, having stayed for three nights with discipline and regulation, attains blessings beyond measure.
