निवासामि सुपुण्येषु स्थानेषु बहुरूपवान्
I dwell, in many forms, in supremely holy places.
दिशः समस्ता गिरयो ऽम्बुदाश्च व्याप्ता भरद्वाज ममानुरूपैः
All directions, mountains, and oceans are pervaded by my forms, O Bharadvāja.
ब्रह्माद्याः स्थावरान्ता द्विजखगमहिता मूर्तिमन्तो ह्यमूर्ताः ते सर्वे मत्प्रसूता बहु विविधगुणाः पूरणार्थं पृथिव्याः
All beings, from Brahmā down to the immovable, including twice-born, birds, and the honored, both embodied and disembodied, all these, possessed of many and various qualities, are produced by me for the fulfillment of the earth.
यैर्दृष्टमात्रैः सहसैव नाशं प्रयाति पापं द्विजवर्य कीर्तनैः
By merely seeing or praising them, O best of twice-born, sin is instantly destroyed.
सर्वपापक्षयकरं कीर्तनस्पर्शनादिभिः
By singing, touching, and other acts, it brings about the destruction of all sins.
हयशीर्षं च कृष्णांशे गोविन्दं हस्तिनापुरे
The Horse-headed One in the portion of Krishna, Govinda in Hastinapura,
केदारे माधवं शौरिं कुब्जाम्रे हृष्टमूर्धजम्
Madhava in Kedara, Shauri in Kubjamra, and Hrishṭamūrdhaja there,
जयेशं भद्रकर्णे च विपाशायां द्विजप्रियम्
Jayesha in Bhadra-karna, the twice-born's beloved in the Vipasha,
कृतशौचे नृसिंहं च गोकर्णे विश्वकर्मिणम्
Nrisimha, after purification, in Gokarna, Vishvakarman there,
विशाखयूपे ह्यजितं हंसं हंसपदे तथा
Ajita at the Vishakhayupa, Hamsa likewise at Hamsapada,
मणिमत्पर्वते शंभुं ब्रह्मण्ये च प्रजापतिम्
Shambhu on the Manimat mountain, Prajapati in Brahmanya,
विद्धि विष्णुं मुनिश्रेष्ट स्थितमोषधिसानुनि
Know Vishnu, O best of sages, as abiding on the summit of the medicinal mountain.
गयायां गोपतिं देवं गदापाणिनमीश्वरम्
The Lord of cows, the god, the mace-wielder, the Lord, in Gaya.
अर्द्धनारीश्वरं पुण्ये माहेन्द्रे दभिणे गिरौ
Ardhanarishvara on the sacred southern slope of Mahendra mountain,
वैकुण्ठमपि सह्याद्रौ पारियात्रऽपराजितम्
Vaikuntha also on the Sahya mountain, Aparajita on Pariyatra,
मलयाद्रौ च सौगन्धिं विन्ध्यपादे सदाशिवम्
Saugandhi on the Malaya mountain, Sadashiva at the foot of the Vindhya,
पाञ्चालिकं च ब्रह्मर्षे पाञ्चालेषु व्यवस्थितम्
And Panchalika, O Brahmarshi, established among the Panchalas,
स्वयंभुवं मधुवते अयोगन्धिं च पुष्करे
Swayambhu in Madhupata, Ayogandhi in Pushkara,
अविमुक्तकमत्रैव लोलश्चात्रैव गीयते
Avimukta is here itself, and Lola is also sung of here.
कुमारधारे बाह्लीशं कार्तिकेयं च बर्हिणम्
Bahlisha at Kumaradhara, Kartikeya as Barhina,
वनमालिनमाहुर्मां दिष्किन्धावासिनो जनाः
Those dwelling in Kishkindha call me Vanamalina,
श्रीवत्साह्कमुदाराङ्गं नर्मदायां श्रियः पतिम्
The one bearing the Srivatsa, with noble form, the Lord of fortune, in the Narmada.
अर्बुदे च त्रिसौपर्ण क्ष्माधरं सूकराचले
On Arbuda, Trisauparṇa, and Sūkarācala, the mountain that upholds the earth,
तथैवात्रापि विख्यातं तृतीयं शशिसेखरम्
In the same way, here too, the third, Śaśiśekhara, is renowned.
हेमकूटे हिरण्याक्षं स्कन्दं शरवणे मुने
On Hemakūṭa, Hiraṇyākṣa; Skanda at Śaravaṇa, O sage,
पद्मनाभं मुनिश्रेष्ठ सर्वसौख्यप्रदायकम्
Padmanābha, O best of sages, the bestower of all happiness,
तत्रैव च महाहंसं प्रयागे ऽपि वटेश्वरम्
There too, Mahāhaṃsa, and at Prayāga, Vaṭeśvara,
भिल्लीवने महायोगं माद्रेषु पुरुषोत्तमम्
In Bhillīvana, Mahāyoga; in Mādras, Puruṣottama,
शूर्पारके चतुर्बाहुं मगधायां सुधापतिम्
At Śūrpāraka, the Four-armed One; in Magadha, the Lord of Nectar,
वनस्पतिं समाख्यातं दण्डकारण्यवासिनम्
The one called Vanaspati, dwelling in the Daṇḍakāraṇya forest,
